BOTT Challenge for January - Weigh In Friday

Felt really good to be down 5 lbs. this morn.

I think I've been doing a little bit better every day.  My biggest problem is still late night, but last night was a big improvement over the previous nights this week.  And my week overall has been HUGELY different than I've been eating for a long time. 

I've been to the gym 3 out of the past 4 days and plan to go late this afternoon w/ my DH.  (We have both gone back this week but not usually at the same time.)  Yest was the 1st day I added weight training machines (just upper body) to my cardio routine, and I am SORE today!  So I will either just do cardio today or add some leg machines.

I think you are doing GREAT. I also think you're absolutely right. It gets a little better every day. A little easier to make the right choices, a little easier to work out. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the encouragement!  I just got back from the gym awhile ago, and I added the leg machines.  My legs already feel like jelly, so I imagine I'll be rolling out of bed in the morn.!

Hi there.  Checking in for the weigh-in :)

I just got back on track yesterday.  I'm down 4 lbs of the water that I was retaining due to salt intake and illness.  Only 18 more lbs to get back to my post-op low.

I'll check back in later to post my eats for the day.

Sounds like everyone is doing super!

I feel for you... after all this house stuff and decidnig it might be kid time, I stopped my shot and THAT time of the month is on its way after 1 1/2 without it. Ugh I'm dreading it.

Hi All

down 2lbs this week.  I'm so pleased, not only with that, but that I can only eat smaller portions now and finding it much easier to stay on track.  It is really helping me knowing I am a part of something that so many people are involved with.  Thank you to all of you.

Way to go, Ruth!! I agree, eating smaller portions makes life so much easier. I love that tight pouch feeling. I get it most when I eat protein first. I'm glad for you!
