that's the funny thing about age - others (particularly one's children) get a year older, but we ourselves never do. LOL  Not quite back to 37 but making progress in that direction.  Thanks for caring.  You're all so important to me.

Welcome home Happy. My floppy thighs, arms, belly and moobs are jealous. I'd do the happy dance for you  but I could lose an eye to an out of control nipple. Glad your doing ok.

So glad all went well for you.  I wasn't on OH much during the mo. of Dec.; I was eating horrendously, and w/ all the Christmas busy-ness, I just let everything go to  h*ll.  I felt like I was eating/behaving almost as bad as what I did before wls.

Anyway, when I finally got back to OH, I saw that you were having your surgery.  Good for you!!!  Sounds like you're getting back into your routine.

I always enjoy your posts; you are always so helpful w/ info and encouragement!

I've begun my BOTT this week and am doing "OK" (meaning not outstanding, but much, much better) with my eating; plus I've gone back to the gym, where it's been a rude awakening how completely out of shape I'd gotten.

Always,
Jo

Isn't amaxing how easily we fall back into old habits - at least we have the advantage of knowing what our old habits were and that when we switch more healthy behavior we are rewarded!

I'm proud of you for getting Back on Track.  WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER - YES WE CAN!!!

Some days are a breeze and somedays every 5 minutes is a challenge.  It's all in our thinking.  Celebrate and share your successes.  When we do that we almost always find we've been more successful that we thought.  We tend to find what we look for - if we look for "failures" that's what we're likely to see and if we look for successes then that's what we're likely to see.  It sounds as though that's exactly what you are doing - GOOD FOR YOU.  There's nothing like success to breed success so before you know it "OK" will be "SPECTACULAR"

Thanks for caring.  You are all so important to me and my successes.

(((((((((((HAPPY)))))))))))))))))

It is so good to 'see' you again.  This board just isn't the same without you and I've missed you, your kindness, your wit and your sensibility

Many big hugs, and well wishes for a continued speedy recovery (plus a green eyed jealous glare, lol)

PS it is one of lifes misteries how others age we and we ourselves don't    :o)
