I'm here and focused.  Been on track for two days.  Bent tonight tho and had a mini tootsie roll cuz I didn't think I was going to survive with it in the cupboard.  Put the rest in the freezer downstairs.  Will send home with kids this weekend.

I feel mentally better.  The third day is always hard for me so I'm not looking forward to tomorrow.  I have my meals and snacks planned so I'm ready. Bring it on!!

I started today. My main issue is soda. I have had no soda today. I drank juice and sugar free tea to avoid the caffeine headache. But it was great. I have got the ladies in the office cheering me on. They ask me everytime they see me "what do you have in that cup?" I think it will keep me on my feet. Looking forward to dropping at least the 5% this month. Totally do-able.

It's strange how we let the things that we know not to do come back into our lives.  Try to add in some water also and once you feel the caffeine headache is not an issue, do your water first and you will find you won't crave the pop.

WAY TO GO in knowing what is an issue for you and taking steps to fix it

I've been under a lot of stress, but I have been resisting eating a horse.  Found out the company that was referred to me by a friend and I had been working with for a Loan Modification was a scam.  I have lost $3000, and facing Foreclosure,I have an appointment with a lawyer in the AM.

I'm so thankful and excited to be here...been looking forward to the January Challenge.  I've gotten my eating back on track...haven't had any junk food and I'm estactic about that.  My main problem is getting my exercise in, so I joined a Zumba class which I will start next Monday and I will be returning to the Persoanl Trainer tomorrow. I can't tell you how much I've missed him, and I won't tell him either!

I can't tell you how much I am sad to hear all you are going through and mad as hell too....  People that take advantage of people when they are down deserve the worst.  I do hope karma is a b****.

My BIG issue is eating when my life is in a mess.  So kudos to you girl for getting BOT with all that is going on.  Be sure and keep posting here so we can hold you up when life is pusing you down.

Okay, today is day 2 of my new way of eating and wouldn't ya know it.  I am at a meeting (a lunch one to boot) and I broke down and had a diet soda!  What was I thinking?  Or not thinking.  I then had my water and tea and felt better.  Protein up too!  At least I can do that. Still not cleared to exercise but will hang on for 14 more days..   AGGHHHH!  But I will lose that 5% of that weight.  Thanks to all for the encouragment!

Shame on whom ever planned that meeting. I have been to a lot of meetings and they usually have bottled water as well as soda.  Make sure you request they have water also the next time if you.

Can you walk?  If you can try doing that for exercise for now

Hi everyone!  I had set a goal for this month and this goes right along with it, so I thought I'd pop in and say hi to everyone.  My biggest vice to get back under control is the drinking regular sodas.  I know that some days over half of my calories come from just drinks alone.  If I can nip that in the bud, then maybe the rest will fall in place. 

Where is the Healthy Tracker that Kathy mentioned?? I got in my 35 minutes on the eliptical trainer and did lower body work out at gym tonight.  Good luck to everybody
