BOTT Challenge for January - Roll Call - Tues!
Hey Everyone,
How was your New Years Celebration? Wonderful I hope....I had an extra day off and took advantage of it.
Let's get caught up with how things are going. I encourage you to track your food and workouts using the Health Tracker if you are not doing so now. Also, post your food and exercise on the BOTT Cafe and Cardio post. Check in here daily to be accountable. It can be as simple as I am here and all is well or detailed if you want to share. If you are struggling please post as we are here to help each other.
My update: I have been slowly for the last few weeks eliminating all the triggers and red flags for me. Yesterday was a good eating day and I did 3 miles on the treadmill. My DH will be out of town for several days this week and on those days I am going to do protein only. This is for me only not advocating you do it, but I find if I mix days of protein only and then days of clean eating it boost my weight loss.
I am going to be a good girl and go post my food and exercise. Come on in and let us know how you are doing

I am excited to lose more weight ! I feel like a newbie (far from it though). I had a great holiday week and didn't gain so that is a great place to start this from, I will be working on that 5% and I know it will be hard but will be satisfied with whatever it is!

Hello everyone,
During 2008 & 2009, I gained 27 lb. I realized the weight was slowly inching back. In December I saw my surgeron to get that stern talk and motivation he always gives. But with the holidays I didn't immediately make any changes.....I know another excuse.
I actually started Dec 28th. All the Christmas foods were gone so what better time to restock the pantry with Janet food.
today-
B - sausage omelet
L - grilled chicken breast and broccoli/cheese
D- not sure about dinner yet. but trust me it will be legal.
Since the 28th, I have lost 8 lbs. Have been very faithful on meals. Joined Curves and have been there every day they have been open. And reading my book the Dr. recommended.
My family was a great support the 2 years after my surgery, then they jus****ch me do whatever and didn't say anything. I talked with them and they have renewed that great support system for me.
I wish every one a great and blessed New Year! We can do this one baby step at a time.

Yesterday I had a really good day with clean eating, but I think today will be a liquid day only. I want to get back to the basics. Ms. Picky Pouch has really been ugly lately and I think the liquids then easing into soft foods, etc. will help me keep focused.
I also decided to make an appointment with my Gazelle every workday morning at 6 am for at least 30 minutes to start with.
I am bound and determined to get these last 50+ lbs off and off for good. I WILL reach goal in 2010.

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat. We know what works best for us and as long as it doesn't make us sick we know it will get us back on track. I too, need exercise as well as eating clean. Thank you for joining out TEAM... 2010 is going to be OUR YEAR

So far so good. Wii fit says I've list .7 lbs since yesterday, and I am all for that! I ate fresh veggies when I got snacky and felt satisfied by that. Today I'm having rice with lentils, and I'm hoping I don't end up retaining water. I'm being sure to drink plenty of it.

Here is why I love it if we post everyday because what you do will help others. You have plenty of fresh veggies on hand when a snack attack hit helped you make a good choice. Did you get the Wii for Christmas? Be sure and keep us posted on how you like it

You are so right. I try to keep a bag of carrots handy now, in such situations, or an apple.
I got the Wii and Wii Fit Plus for Christmas, yes! I love it so far and have been faithful to it every single day. I even have a profile on it for my cat, and we've been keeping track of each other.
