Introducing Myself

Hi all,

I am new to this group and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself...I had gastric bypass on 03/17/2009 and have lost 130 pounds. I have fallen off the wagon, though. Back to my old friend mountain dew. I do, however, still throw up when I over eat, and I dump when I have too much sugar. SO my tool is still good, I just need to motivate myself to being using it. I have set a start today, I am not having Mountain dew and I am going back to the plan my surgeon put me on. I still have 115 pounds to go and I want it off this year, I am glad I am not alone. I am excited to enourage and receive encouragement from this group!!

Welcome Bre!  I am new too and I need this so badly.  It has bee a while since I have had any encouragement to continue to lose the weight and be healthy!  I am glad that your tool still works!  Good luck to you!  Good luck to all of us!!

Welcome, glad to have you here.  If you stop your mountain dew cold turkey I hope you are aware that you can have caffein withdrawal and might get a headache, you might want to have a little coffee or something to have just a small amount of caffein for a couple days.  (not trying to give you an excuse to have it again, just don't want you to get frustrated)

So jump on the wagon, there is a full wagon load here and we all support each other.

Yeah...that is what I found out. So I am switching to unsweet tea. It has really helped and it breaks up the monotomy of water all the time. Thanks for the info!

Hi Bre

wow you've done so well up to now.  Yes, you've let some bad habits slip back in, but you can get back on track and get that remaining weight off I'm sure.

Welcome to the group - everyone is so supportive here.  Glad to have you jump on board
