1/4/10 - Monday - BOTT Cardio and Cafe`

Welcome to the first full week of the year!  Hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend, and are now ready and eager to face whatever the week has to bring!  I know for me, this week is going to be all about applying the Beck lessons that I put into place last week, and seeing just how strong of a set of habits I've built to help me along the way. 

What things have you put into place to help you be successful?

Meals
B- Yogurt and Cereal
S - Cottage cheese with SF apricot jam
L - 4oz steamed shrimp, baby carrots and grape tomatoes
S - Triscuit and Laughing Cow Cheese
D - 4oz steamed shrimp, brown rice, steamed edamame
S - Protein Shake

Cardio
30 Minutes on the Wii
Housework

Next gym day is scheduled for Tuesday!

Good morning!
Finally...  Everyone goes back to work, school, etc.  Everything goes back to normal, sorta.  I'll be busy running back and forth to my daughter's house for the next few weeks, she's 9 months pregnant and developed pre-eclampsia.  She's due in three weeks, hopefully she can hold on as long as possible.  I'll be trying to incorporate as much of a "workout" as possible.  My food plan:
Breakfast - fage w/h.f. granola
Snack - click
Lunch - ricotta cheese
Snack - pepperoni chips
Dinner - stuffed italian chicken w/veggies
Snack - fage w/s.f. caramel

It's Great!!!  Great coffee/mocha flavored protein drink.  It really keeps me going through out the day!

Today will be the test.  Back to work... trying to avoid all the food folks bring in and the candy machines.  I've been perfect for 3 days and the scale has rewarded me 6 lbs down.  Yes, it's all water I know. But it feels like the honeymoon phase when I first started this journey.  I'm going to do a lot of self-talk in hopes I can stay on the right track even when the scale isn't moving.  Speaking of moving, I've got to get my body moving.  It's been soooo cold in St. Louis, I haven't made it to the Y to exercise.  I normally walk the track or do an hour in the pool. I need to wrap up tight and just do it.  I'll get there; for now... I've got to fight the demons in my head that want to graze and just eat whatever!
So here's the mealplan for today:

Breakfast:  Tilapia/Applescauce
Lunch:  Deli meats and celery
Dinner:  Fuji apple cicken salad (I'm hooked on this stuff)
Snack:  Apple

No it's a Panera Bread Restarant salad.  It's really good.... with red onions, pecans, dried apples, tomatoes, romaine lettuce and a light vingarette dressing.  YUMMY!  What's "HungryGirl"?  Is there a website.

Happy Monday all you BOTTER's !

I am happy to say I survived the holidays and am ready for a losing year !  It is going to be an exciting one in my book !  We are always so busy but I am taking the time for me again this year ! 

To be successful I am going to continue to log everything and stay connected with all of you, you are all my inspiration !

Meals:

L - Protein Drink
S - Almonds
D - Chicken

Staying very basic this week to help keep the brain in this game ! 

Cardio - 30 minutes on the elliptical (if I can make it that long, haven't been on it in two weeks !)

Hello BOTT,
Welcome to the New Year and the New Challenge of getting to goal in 2010!  I am looking forward to getting back on track and finally getting myself together.  I have been unbelievably hungry, I don't know where this urge to put every thing in my mouth has come from. If it doesn't move...I snatch it up.  I will be trying to add more complex proteins to my menu within the next few days...maybe they will help with these hunger episodes I'm experiencing.

Cardio:
Treadmill 30mins

Food:
EM - EAS Chocolate Protein Shake
B -    Spinach Omelet w/ Pepper Jack Cheese
S -    2 slices of Turkey Bacon
L -    Tuna w/ tossed salad LF Italian dressing
S -    Jalapeno Pretzels
D -    Turkey Bacon w/ Spinach Quiche
