Hi Kathy,
I had a 13.5lb gain from my lowest point...I still have 36.5lbs to reach goal.  I'm not looking back but forward in the New Year.  A New day, a New Year, and New January Challenge!

I think I gained about 25 lbs., which is WAY more than I ever hoped to regain TOTAL, much less in one year.  I am "coming back" on Mon.  (I know--that sounds SO "diet mentality"--but psychologically, I just want to get thru this wkend.)

Always,
Jo

2009--good year for me! Lost 16 pounds, gained 8 pounds back, then started running and LOST another 22!

Slow and steady progress, feeling healthy, strong, attractive and hardcore for running in the rain! Almost 148 miles for the month of December, yo! It's a wonderful way to combat stress.

2009 was supposed to be my 'honeymoon' year, but it certainly didn't turn out that way- I realized that I was not doing what I was supposed to and was very stagnant.  I got back on track, and started losing again, and then fell off the horse when I developed Kidney stones.  I kept making excuse after excuse, and ended up gaining 7 of the pounds I thought I'd lost for good.

I am back on track now, and intend on staying there - 2010 is MY year!

I lost 7lbs, then gained it back again!  Not what I was looking for, but am pleased with myself for halting the gain so that it wasn't greater.  I have felt more in control in '09 since BOTTing, and now need to focus on losing to my goal.

This year I'm battling the carb snacks - chips in particular, and it's a battle I'm gonna win.  So move over carbs,

I gained about 35... with loosing my job and making bad decisions... I fell off the wagon and got totally run over by it.  BUT  this is a new year and I am committed to getting back on track and getting rid of those nasty pounds for good.

I had lost in the beginning of the year then I tore a ligament in my left ankle training for a 5K.  Then my joint in the same foot became rigid so surgery happened in May of 09.  Gained 15 pounds and I am so upset with myself.  I will get the go ahead for the gym at the end of this month.  Recovery has been hard but eating should have been easy.  Back on track now and this is day 4!
