Hey Everyone

I am so excited that everyone is going to join me in Getting Back On Track for the New Year. Since our BOTT group is so large we don't have the ability to PM from the group so I am going to do so via my [email protected] account.  I think to stay on track and help each other we need to touch base daily.  Just a hey, checking in or I am in trouble and share what is going on.  Let's be there for each other good or bad.  After all, we are the EXPECTS at helping others, we just drop the ball sometimes helping ourselves.

I want this to be a positive, successful challenge for us all.  I will post our first check-in on Monday, January 4Th.  Let's have our weight in on Fridays.  We don't have to tell each other our weight but just how much if anything we lost.  Again this is a change to help each other not feel bad.  If we get to the end of the month and you have not lost a darn pound but learned something positive about you then it was a success.

Everyone be safe, have a fun New Year and Let's part like it was 1999

Take care,
Kathy

Hi there, and thank you!  I've missed you too!  I guess I've just been letting life sort of get in the way of my coming to OH.  But, I truly have missed all of you and I find that I really do miss the encouragement, the support, and the sharing.  It really does help, and it is good to be back!

Loving me...every day...for the rest of my life!

Definitely count me in... I'm starting fresh in 2010...
1. just ordered a case of protein;
2. plan to call for an appointment with the surgeon... long overdue for that yearly check up
3. plan to find a psychologist here in St. Louis to help me with the demons of self-sabatogue.
This is the year I finally reach goal. I can feel it.

Thanks for the BOTT group and all the support.  Looking forward to reading about less of us in the coming year!

Happy New Year!!!

Thank you so much for leading us in this Kathy.  I'm filled with trepidation and scared of failing, BUT I know I want to do this and I need to do this and if I approach it in the right way have no need to feel those feelings.

I've just re-read the guidelines, told DH and DD of my plans to get BOTTing again for serious, and asked for their help.  I'm going to print them out and put them up somewhere to remind me daily.

I am trying to think back to life when I first had wls, but it seems so far away.

I need to:

1. stop unplanned carb snacks
2. up my protein intake
3. reduce my portion sizes
4. drink more water
5. exercise more
