Morning, all!

Well, it happened! And it was a fiasco to the bitter end, too. We walked up to the door, key in hand, and in the key went to the deadbolt...... and it wouldn't come out!! And the handle was also locked. So we're struggling to get the key out, and my husband gets his pliers to get a better grip.... and SNAP. The key breaks in the deadbolt, and we're LOCKED OUT OF OUR OWN HOUSE! I'm all upset, half ready to cry from disbelief. My husband walks 3 doors down to my parents' house, leaving me there, staring at the door I can't open... and comes back with a hammer and crowbar. I blink at him, and he BAMBAMBAMBANGs on the doorknob. All it does is dent and bend the knob, but the lock is still locked. After several minutes of twisting and prying and banging.... he shoves the door open throws down the hammer and carries me over the threshhold, us both in hysterics because... it really put up a fight to the bitter end. Fortunately, of course, we had earlier bought new doorknobs/deadbolts to change the locks that day, so I didn't mind seeing the bits and pieces of the old doorknob on the floor.

What a STORY I have about my first house. Hilarious now, but oh I was so upset when it was happening.

I hope to move around ALOT more now, since we're going to have to work hard to get the house ready to move into.  But I'm happy and excited for it.

The house-gods sure haven't smiled on you.  Glad you can laugh about it now!  What a tale you'll have to tell your grandkids about when Grandma and Grandpa moved in to their wonderful house!  Now you can go full-steam ahead turning your house into your home.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Sorry Sion,

With that story told now you can add the many more positive things about the new house.  How the wall came down can be part 2.

Take care,

Z

lol, well honestly, its a sham recipe and not very home made. The fish filets are pre-cooked frozen and individually wrapped, you just defrost them then pop em in the oven for 8-12 minutes to warm them. I stuffed them with a store bought reduced fat crab stuffing. Sort of just plop a spoonful on the middle and roll the filet around it. Top with salt, pepper and a spritz of lemon and ICBINB. I served with chopped broccoli flourettes.

hmm...I think I'm going to try this - I'm not very adventuous with fish and only eat it covered in batter (!!!!!!!! good ol' british fish & chips full of fat, calories, and carbs) or tuna.  Thanks for the idea :o)

Morning All

Hope you are counting that running Happy you burn tons of calories.
I am having a great morning and wishing the same for everyone else.  Vitamins, journaling and 10 minutes on the stationary bike are out of the way for today so I now need to concentrate on my fluid intake and making wise food choices.

Foods for the day:
Tea, Cookies n creme protein shake, boiled egg, veg-beef soup, twisted protein bar, greek yogurt w/honey and walnuts, 1/2 cup chicken salad w egg on a toastada.  32 oz water, 32 oz flavored water.
My Unjury chicken soup came and I'm trying unflavored protein to add to receipes.
Take care all and have a great Wednesday.
