Well, it finally came in the mail

It came last night, finally!  I ordered the Medi Herb, Gymnema 1:1.  I figured that it would come in handy when I started my holiday baking, which will be today.  I'll let you know if I have the same reaction as Kathy did.  I'm hoping that I will! 

Is it in powder or capsule form?

It's liquid and tastes horrible. 

What is this?  I missed whatever was said about it earlier.  I googled it.  If I read it right it helps suppress the desire for sugar?

Kathy had it in a post a few weeks ago.  It alters the taste of sugar.  Kathy said that it made has a salty taste.  When I took it this morning and ate something there was no taste to the food at all.  It was really weird, like eating paper...  Which is good for me.  I'm interested in seeing how long it stays with you.  I took a bite of lunch and still had the same effect.  Everything tastes blahhh...

Keep me posted!  Remember if you are thinking about eating anything sweet take a teaspoon of this before eating the sweet.

I forgot to tell you it taste BAD...but then I think that is part of the "plan".

By the way, it's about 4:30 and food still tastes "off".  I'll be taking another spoonful before dinner.  So far, so good...

Where abouts did you buy yours from?  I'm so wary of buying something that is not the 'real thing'

Interesting to hear how it works for you - I'd like to try it

I ordered through VitaDocs.  I can't say that I was happy with their service.  It was about 2 weeks and I emailed them and followed up with a phone call.  I was told that they were behind in sending out their orders.  I got it yesterday and it was postmarked on the day that I called them.  I'm pretty fussy about customer service so I'll be looking to see if anyone carries it in the future.
