Exercise is important, but another factor is your daily eating routine. Can you give us an idea of how and what you have been eating since your back surgery?

Terri - I'm so glad you are back - well, not glad that you are back because you have gained, but glad you are back because you believe we can help you.
Like Sion suggested, you may need to lessen your caloric intake while you can't exercise. You might find it helpful to plan your food and WRITE IT DOWN at least a day ahead - I do better if I do it for 3-4 days ahead. It is so easy when we "estimate" what we are eating to eat way more calories than we think we're eating. Is your goal right now to maintain or lose more?
I wish you a speedy (and I know speedy may not be the right word here) recovery. Maybe I should just say - "I hope you're feeling better soon."
