Dairy of a BOTTer - Friday Hurtful words how do you cope?
Hey Everyone
It's Friday, it's Friday
I talk to people every day and one of the things that come up is the hurtful things people say to you when you start to put the weight back on. I know people that refuse to go out and won't let family and friends see them. This breaks my heart
I think it helps to talk about these things and share. What are some of the things that have been said to you since gaining weight and how did you handle it. Like...
Oh you look so much better filled out.
Ok, so what? You thought I was too skinny before? Then how come you ranted and raved about how great I looked?
What happen to you?
Look, I can lose weight but ugly goes to the bone
I hope you didn't throw all your fat clothes away?
Duh, I gave them all to you!
Now don't you feel better
Take care,
Kathy

Haha! Its always good to have a snappy come-back when someone says something to make you feel insecure, whether they mean it or not. Thanks for the giggle, Kathy!
