Good Morning.
We finally had our first snow (a little more then a flurry) so I am sitting here having my Chocolate Truffle protein mixed in my coffee, wow, tastes like hot chocolate, is great for looking outside at the snow.

Today:
b - Protein Drink
s - Almonds
L - Protein Drink
s - Cottage Cheese
D - Going out to a really nice restaurant, my guess is it will be baked fish, one of my favorites !

Have to decide what I am going to do for excercise today, won't go out walking because with the first snow comes the first crazies that don't remember how to drive on the stuff..LOL.  I will probably see how long I can stay on the elipticle thingy .

Wierd isn't it?????

Trust all house stuff is going well for you.  When will you get to move?

I really like the 100 cal packets of Emerald almonds - both the choc and the ones with walnuts.  Thanks

Have you tried DeGiorno's 200 cal thin crust pizza - tried that last night - added some pepperoni but don't think I will the next time - think it will be just fine without and the pepperoni I added just kind of set up on top.  Since my plumbing does't react well with cheese - didn't add any extra cheese - if I'd added both it might have blended better.  Wouldn' t want to spend my calories that way often, but it was great as a change of pace.

The brussel sprouds and cream cheese were much better than just brussle sprouts (not bitter)  I use ff cream cheese which doesn't melt like the others but didn't want to spend 70 calories (1/3 less fat) for an ounce when I could spend 30.  May re-think that in the future.  Again, not something I'm going to eat very often (after all I don't want to overdoes on "good for you:) but OK for a change of pace.

My next caper is to nuke a spaghetti squash and also roast the seeds in the microwave.  It's amazing the possibliities a little Googleing will turn up!!!! LOL

Have a fun weekend

I'm really glad you like them! I really love the choc almonds. They make a great little snack. I'm still working on my first package of them, which means I'm not ODing on them.

No, I had no idea Digiorno made thin crust pizzas! I have to check those out. How many people do you think it'd feed? It might be a nice change of pace for the fam here too.

The house stuff is going swimmingly now, as compared to before! I got my mortgage approval yesterday, which I was flipping about. Insurance is done and paid, inspections done and check pending, appraisal done and paid and apparantly passed requirements for FHA. Utilities are set up to start when needed, alls I have to do now is order oil for the heat, but I'll wait till we're closer.

Closing date is Dec 15th, only 11 more days! Its getting very close now. After we close, we'll eat sushi on the livingroom floor, probably imbibe in some adult beverages and celebrate... then its down to the hard work of getting the place ready to move in. Knock down a wall, take down the panneling and put up sheetrock, paint, etc... we still have a little work ahead of us before we move in. We're aiming to move in around Jan 16th-ish. At least that's when the cable gets turned on.

I get my ginormous (65") TV and Wii delivered tomorrow, which I'm STOKED about. I plan to hook the Wii right up to my dad's TV and play all weekend. It'll be great exercise!

I've never had spaghetti squash. What's it taste like?

It isn't gooy like spaghetti but it looks exactly like spaghetti (do you suppose that's how it got its name - now there's a novel idea) and since I slather real spaghetti with sauce and will do the same the the squa**** tastes a lot like spaghetti sauce.  Don't mean to be sassy but I think I really eat spaghetti for an excuse to eat the sauce.  May add a little cooked and drained (gazooks - I may have to use my stove!!!!) turkey sausage to the sauce - and maybe some mushrooms - but probably, in the interest of nuking, will just buy ready-made sauce with meat and mushrooms added - you know what Prago says - It's all in there.

65" - now that would be fun to see the Wii cartoon characters bigger than I am.  (I'm 5' 0" - well actually I'm 4' 11" but I refuse to be shorter than 5')  While I was in Indiana I found a tee shirt that said "I'm not short, I'm elf size"

I found a recipe (not nuked if you can imagine that) for roasted spaghetti squash seeds for 1 cup seeds coated with 1 TBS olive oil & salt to taste for 216 cals - 1 tsp olive oil = 60 cal  1 tbs = 3 tsp = 180 cal

So figure if I use "I Can't Believe it Isn't Butter" spray with 0 cals instead of the olive oil to coat
them then 1 cup roasted seeds = 36 cals.  Sounds like a winner to me!!!!  A cup of roasted seeds would be a lot of seeds!  Of course, I would nuke them - think I'd cover them so I wouldn't have seeds popping all around (that's how they say you know they are done - they begin to pop open) in the microwave.

A box of the thin crust pizza has two servings in it.  They are rectangular shape but they probably are equal to one slice of a large regular pizza.  I got pepperoni but the have others as well.

You know, I think I'd love to work on a meal plan with someone. I think it'd really help if I had a set schedule of food, then it'd be harder to stray and 'not be accountable because I didn't eat such and such'..... It'd also make it easier to shop. Hmmmm, maybe a dietician visit is in order. Does anyone know if Weigh****chers online does this??

Cardio - Walk the track (if I can handle it... still valiently fighting this cold/flu)

Food -
B - Home made samosas
L - Baked whitefish and green veg
S - raw veggies
D - Not sure, mom n dad are comming home from Nawlins, may go out.
