So simple, yet so hard...

Ok, I just finished a program that my church has been doing. I read through the Bible in 90 days. About 12-18 chapters a day every day. Its amazing how simple the message of the Bible actually is. Jesus is asked what is the greatest cammandment and He answers simply, Love! Love God, Love others.

Now I know that not all here believe in God or read the Bible. I am not preaching or pushing my beliefs on anyone , BUT, this is incredible advice for EVERYONE. How much better would your area of influence be if everything you did was tempered by love.

Love is not selfish, love does not "keep up with the Jones", love does not hold grudges.

Love does forgive, help, listen, show true concern and offer freedom.

If enougth people got ahold of this simple truth and loved people where they were and for who they are, it would change history.

Just a thought...

Wayne,
It's so true.  I did something like that a few years ago.  Althought it took me a lot longer than 90 days.  It reminds you to think about loving and helping others.
Have a great one!

And equally important is to love ourselves.  If you have a religious belief then you believe we are all children of God - and I'm pretty sure God wants ALL of his children to be loved - if so, that includes each and every one of us loving ourselves as well as God and others.
