I have to say the dh is being outwardly supportive of me getting these 76 lbs off ,,, however he seems to want to sabatoge me too .... h
he does little things like , oh i made coffee and i forgot you cant have cream  and sugar , but one wont hurt .... then gets insulted if i dont drink it ,,,, when he clearly knows i have my protein shake the minute i wake ! UGH ....

He keeps saying he loves me how i am ... but as i explain to him , i dont love me how i am .... and he cant grasp it ...

He went out and bought me a new puppy ,,,, an 11 week old ( 40LB) chocolate lab ... thinking it would keep me busy and on track ...

HELLO ! I  have 5 kids , 3 , now 4 dogs , 12 parrots  a grand daughter , yes im a grandma at 38 yrs old ,,,  so do i need to be busier .
..
i know the pup was a gift from his heart as i LOVE chocolate labs , i mean who does not like chocolate right ?

im just unsure as how to get him to see that i need to stay on track .... without being mean ... and withour HIS INSECURITIES gettng the best of him and ultimately me ..

to add a bit of background my 1st marriage ended about 18 months after my original surgery 7 years ago , when my ex hubby could not handle the new me and wanted me back to who he met !

what do i do ??????????????????

You sound like a very busy person.   I don't have that happening to me but would it work to smile, say thank you and just quietly get rid of the coffee?  I'm sure he means well.  he probably just doesn't know how to help.

I have 5 dogs, yes, we have 3 pugs and two labs.  The baby is a 5 month old Red Lab, I chose to get that one.  When we got the last one my MIL said I thought you told him no more dogs, I smiled and said, welllll, that one was my doing.  So the day we came into the house and she had chewed up some mail that contained pictures of my niece and nephew and I started to say something, my MIL said, It was you that wanted the dog.....it was priceless, reminded me just to laugh and take it in stride.

Humor helps  ! ! !   Good luck and If you need just to talk to someone, let me know, I will gladly help you out.  I too am trying to lose some weight I put back on and then the final weight I never lost in the first place, I am determined and know I can do it, FOR ME.
