I had read on and off on the main boards about these, and had a major chocolate craving just now when I went shopping, so decided to try them. I am blown away by Emerald's Cocoa Roast Almonds. Dark chocolate roasted almonds. 2 of my favorite things that aren't normally on my healthy-o-meter. However, I found that the serving size was just right, I didn't want more after that, and I am completely craving-satiated!

Nutrition Facts
Serving size (about 1/4 cup or about 7-10 nuts)
Cal - 150
Fat - 13g (and that's monosaturated, the good kind!)
Sodium - 25 mg (for nuts, that's amazing)
Potassium - 210mg
Carbs - 6g
Fiber - 3g
Sugars - 1g
Protein - 6g

They're not too sweet, and the chocolate flavor reminds me a LOT of cocoa krispies or cocoa puffs, so in a way, its almost nostalgic and comfort-foody.

Give em a shot!

Yes, they are delicious and the vanilla almond are as well. I was able to get them in WV but here I have not been so lucky. I think I will start looking again since you have reminded me of them.

I like them too much.  Ate too many of them to buy anymore.

I'll see if I can find them - but I have real problems when things don't come packaged in single serving packages.

By the way, Hungry Girl is featuring my favorite yogurt today - Fage total 0%

Couldn't you get those mini zip-lock baggies and portion em out, then freeze what you're not eating? They would thaw by snack time if you took em out in the morning.

Sion, Sion, Sion - you know me better than that LOL

Of course I COULD (even shoud) but somehow things packaged in bulk REFUSE to go from original package directly to baggies.  They JUMP into my mouth and FORCE themselves down my throat before I know what I'm about!!!  (Wretched things that they are)

Have a fun day

LOL I see, those little monsters.

I suppose we couldn't employ Mister Happy, either... I bet he has the same magnetic tongue?

No worries, they exist in pre-fabbed 100 cal packs. And pretty cheap too!

Now you're talking my language - just have to find them now.   Will go on line and check them out.

Mr. Happy is only here 11 days a month so that won't work - and yes, he has the magnetic tongue as well.

Thanks!   Was afraid I might have to forfiet my GrandBOTTmother rights.
