Dairy of a BOTTer Thurs - Sugar/Did I find a Miracle Cure?
Hey Everyone
This is my second week and what they say is true, our tool does not fail us we fail our tool. I am finding sugar is a big issue with me. I got hooked on sweet tea and find that has made me crave, (yes crave) sugar. Love chocolate, and OMG those white fudge covered Oreo cookies. HELP
Well I think I may have found a miracle answer. My husband had disabling vertigo and we ended up going to a Holistic Doctor. He is much better now...while we were there I shared with her I felt part of the issue was his diabetes being so high. She mentioned a supplement called Gymnema 1:1. She stated if you get a crave for sugar then take a teaspoon of this before you eat your sugar choice and it will taste so bad you will NEVER eat it again. I was joking and said I need some, she gave me a bottle and OMG.... I took a teaspoon the next time I put sugar in my tea and almost gagged it tasted so bad...gone is the sweet tea cravings. I took a teaspoon before eating a white chocolate Oreo cookie and almost puked. It kinda reminds me of when I first had my surgery. I was so afraid of getting sick I never cheated or ate anything I thought would bring on a dump.
This is unbelievable! I will keep you posted on how it continues to work and if so, and you have problems with sugar you may want to visit your local Holistic doc.

That's like the complete opposite of "Miracle Fruit"... where you eat the fruit then you can sip vinegar or eat a lemon and it tastes sweet.

What's more, what is your dosage? I'm seeing a few controdicting numbers here.

I am, at least it works for me. It's called Medi Herb, Gymnema 1:1. I think you need to get it from a Doctor to be sure of the quality. It says to take one teaspoon in juice or water a day, but the doctor told me to take a teaspoon before I go to eat the sugar food. I was blown away that it worked for me.
Do a google search and then Holistic docs.

I am finding other sites for $44, so that wasn't the only option, apparantly. At least I know the item now. Thanks for this info, Kathy. Its definately an interesting find!
