Back On Track Together
I'm new here! Hello, I need to get back on track
I hope this is the group I need to get involved with. Tomorrow is my one year surgiversary and I am not happy with myself. I am thrilled that I lost 85 pounds in the last year but haven't lost anything in the last 4 months. I kind of got to the point that I looked pretty good, could wear fun clothes and set back to rest on my laurels. My habits and foods I am eating have not contributed to any weight gain but I am sure it will if I keep it up. I just can't seem to get past the "I will start following the rules tomorrow" that I used to always do. I am eating lots of carbs, snacks and sugar. I hope by coming here I can get the inspiration and support to finally get on track and lose the last 25 pounds that need to come off.
Hi Cheryl,
Welcome to BOTT. Happy one year!! YEAH!!!
It is wonderful that you're aware enough to acknowledge the habits you're following will lead to weight gain. I can speak for myself that I suffered the ostrich approach and dug my head in the sand. I woke up and found 30 extra regained pounds. Yea, I lost it but it was very slow and not nearly as easy as the first time I lost it after having surgery. You are saving yourself that by getting back on track now versus after regained weight.
Tomorrow never comes and gets put off until later in the week, month or year!! Today is the day. Today is each of our days! To me, when I get off track, my next opportunity to get right back on track is my next meal.
I'm so glad you're a BOTTer with us. Post on our daily check-in thread and that will also help you stay accountable to yourself.

I am so glad to be part of this group. Still early out 4 months but lost only 6 pounds inthe last 5=6 weeks. I just started exercise 3-4 days a week cardio for 30 minuutes, treadmiil, ellipitical or cycle whatever is available. I went back to information given preop and have been doing it wrong. Too many carbs and fats. Grateful fo my bodybugg so journalling has been occurring and finally seee the increased calorie burn per minute with exercise. I need to take advantage and not waste my rapid weight loss honeymoon phase.
Is there a daily thread to post variables like PLANNED DIE****ER EXERCISE?
