Back On Track Together
Dairy of a BOTTer - Friday Reflection
Hey Everyone
I think a big part of getting back on track and staying there is taking the time to reflect what worked for you and what didn't. Where you can make adjustments and change your direction.
Coming here and posting daily has REALLY helped with my accountability. Knowing I am putting it out there to share and hopefully engage others is such a plus. I did pretty well with the food, need to concentrate more on the moving, journaling and addressing my spirit.
Next week will be the first trip my husband is taking for work since he was sick. He is leaving on Tuesday and I am going to use next week to really reflect on how I got off track and really deal with any and all thoughts. I will be sure to share as I think we are all one when it comes to this thang called weight issues.
I am going to clean out the house, shop for high protein foods, read my FAVORITE book, clean eating and come here Monday and make sure I am back to all the basics. Then and only then will I get on the scale and deal with numbers.
So my friends, thank you for helping me. I hope you are joining me on getting back on track. Let's use this tread to help each other and we can get through the holidays together and then kick butt after the first of the year.
Image us working through our issue and getting back on track through the holidays and then after the first of the year, we have all our ducks in a row and we could do challenges and train together and be the hot babes on the beach come summer!!!
Since I am on the boards 40-50 hours a week I will not be posting on the weekends but be back MONDAY!!!
Take care,
Kathy

Found an interesting article that suggest carb craving is a symptom of depression - this simply reinforces what we all know - deal with the thinking and feeling mosters that pursue us and the food will take care of itself. Our problem is not, and never has been, physical - it's mental/emotional. Exercise, which is physical, increases our mental/emotional health. Mental/emotional health impacts our WILLINGNESS to exercise (still have to call on the Nike slogan - just do it) They work hand in hand - mental/physical issues trigger the physical. Guess what - we're a package deal. Will we ever have it 100% together 100% of the time (Pardon me whil I roll on the floor laughing at that idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) We are a work in progress if we are healthy. So my friends - I wish you progress
