Back On Track Together
I am back online
Now I am trying harder than ever to get back on track. I been doing pretty good. I been getting in the majority of the suppliments, water, exercise. I haven't been eating or sleeping but that is starting to change. I noticed once I got more than 3 hours a night I ate a little better. Now I am concerned I am over eating. The weight loss was stalled bad! But since eating again the scale is moving down. So my concern today is how much should I be eating at 8 mo out almost? I am in the process of cutting back and hopefully giving up the diet coke I started drinking again. I worry I stretched the pouch with the soda and possibly over eating. I am considering the 5 day pouch test. Has anyone done this or even have other ideas?

At 8 mo's out you should likely be able to 'contain' 6-8 oz at any one time. That number will increase over time, and that's natural. Your pouch stretches natrually with healing, and becomes more efficient over time. I promise, you did not stretch your pouch with soda. You really have to TRY to stretch your pouch significantly. You'd be in constant discomfort from over-eating things like dense protein and dense foods. Sliders, liquids, these things don't stretch, they just go right through.
The 5DPT is a toughie for alot of people, and I find for me, it just gets rid of water weight. But many others find it helps them to kill bad habits and re-adjust their portion sizes. It may or may not work for you, and there are other options. Feel free to give it a shot and let us know how it goes, keep posting and stay with it. You're doing great! You have all the basics and ideas down, now its just to put them into practice.
