Back On Track Together
Day 7 of Plateau Busting Plan
I am updating everyone on my 10 day Plateau Busting Plan. I am very surprised that this has not been too hard for me. I am staying focused. My family was out from 10am until 10:45 pm and my DH and daughter ate out twice. I took mine meals with me and stayed focused. I felt as though it was an accomplishment, that I had defeated food. As of this morning the scales are down to 186.6 so I have lost 5.2lbs. I think I will stay on for the 10 days. I had originally planned on 7 days this being my last day but, I really think it keeps me on track of how I am suppose to eat and haven't for a very long time. I have kept a record of my calories and protein daily. I have averaged 100 grams of protein a day and 941 calories. I would hate to guess how many calories I was eating a day before I found BOTT.
Even if I do not respond to post I want everyone to know how exciting it is to come on and read comments posted. Thanks to everyone

Kellie, Thank you! And honestly what I felt as being hunger pains a week ago I do not have now. So, that alone makes me feel like yes, I can do this. Michelle actually posted it a few post back that she was going to try it for 5 days so,I looked it up and I found another post with the info on it.

It is very quite simple to remember what you can have:
64 oz of water daily
45 grams of protein supplements and vitamins daily
5 - 3oz meals daily
30 minutes of exercise daily
You can have Beef,Pork,Chicken,Turkey,Lamb,Fish,Eggs,Low-Fat Cheese,Cottage Cheese,Plain Yogurt,Peanut Butter,Beans/Legumes
You may also have Sugar Free Popscicles,Decaf Tea or Coffee,SF Jello,Broths/Boullion,Crystal Light Drinks
If it is not on the list, you may not have it for 10 days
I made me a one page sheet for all 10 days that I just mark off as I eat or drink and makes it easy to keep track of everything needed daily. If you want to try it and would like a copy of the sheet I used, I would be happy to email it to you.

36 lbs from goal!
Congrats on sticking to your plan and doing so well. I have been lurking for quite some time. Just succeeding in maintaining my weight. I am 6 years out and have a 20 pound gain. Struggling to stay motivated for any length of time. Think partly because I am healthy and feel better. I know that I can reach my goal just have to make up my mind I am gonna do it. Must be convinced of the reasons in my mind to achieve it.
Thank you! I am 5.5 years out and had gained back total of 37lbs which I have down to 31.6 and hope to continue the success. I do not want to set large goals. My long term goal is to be 155 again but my short term which still may be too much is a 12 lb loss by 12-23-09. That gives me 6 wks to lose 12lbs.
Being this far out for you have you ever considered plastic surgery? I haven't until over the weekend but, I would need to lose a lot before having it done I am sure. Secondly, I could only do it if insurance covered it and I believe they only cover a panniculectomy if medically necessary. I have not studied all of this but my stomach does look bad and I get a lot of rashes around my previous scars but I have had several surgeries and not sure if the stomach can take much more. I have had two Cesereans,Hysterectomy,Gallbladder,RNY and Hernia Repair.
You will make up your mind that you want to reach goal and it will happen. Keep your chin up and keep moving forward. I love this group so hang around and enjoy!
