Back On Track Together
Happy Sunday Morning
For some it is the start of a new week for me it is the last of the weekend. Hope all did well or plan to start doing well.
My weekend went well, I ate a few things that could have been left off my menu but overall results are satisfactory. Sunday is hard because the DH likes to eat out after we take in our spiritual food. My determination for this second meal is to do protein first, make wise food choices, take my vitamins, drink my water and get in some exercise.
Have a great day!

Good morning lovelies!
I was absent yesterday because I was at the JDRF Walk for a Cure that I had signed up for a few months ago. It was a huge event, and seemed to go pretty well. Unfortunately, my goal for walking the 5K without a problem fell through because I had a nasty pain in my back where my kidney issues were and it sent me home before the walk even started :( I'm bummed about it - because I feel like I left my sponsors down.
Anyway - today I'm going to recover from the aches and pains and get ready for a really busy week. My meal plans for today are:
Brunch - An omlette and toasted Arnold thin
Afternoon Snack - An apple and some PB2
Dinner - Butter chicken and a little bit of rice (left over Indian from Friday night)
Evening Treat - Click Frappe
My foot is really bugging me today from yesterday, so I'm thinking about taking a day off from cardio and doing some stretching and yoga.
Hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday!
Kellie

Hi Z
thanks for asking...actually I haven't had too good a weekend. Bread and other breadlike carbs have been my downfall - I've been in a funk emotionally so my body has reacted accordingly :o(
I've got to get back on track - it seems I have 6 good days then I make poor choices food wise on 1 day and all that hard work doesn't pay off. I am so frustrated with it all - always an uphill struggle always thinking about every morsel I put in my mouth, and movement I make. To be honest I'm tired with it all, but determined to stick with it - there is no way I am going back to where I came from.
Sorry for sounding off, it has helped just 'sharing' my frustration! I knew when I chose this road it was for life, just some days are harder than others.
Looking forward to a great week ahead
Ruth

Ruth, If we can't share our frustrations with each other who can we share them with. Others just don't understand. They think wls is a cure all and we don't have to work at it. I share your situation fully.
It's a constant battle but together we will succeed.
