Hey BOTTS

I just can't believe the Holidays are upon us already.  At this time of the year I love to reflect what I am most Thankful for in my life.

I am most Thankful for my Family
I am most Thankful for our Health
I am most Thankful for my WLS, it enabled me to find my true self

Come on in and please share what you are feeling most Thankful for  .  Your comments may appear in our November edition of ObesityHelp's Newsletter.

Thanks

Take care,
Kathy

Nifty! I always love these sorts of posts. Reflection is fantastic for motivation.

I am most thanful for my ability to grow and learn every day. Without this, I could never understand or progress in my weightloss and learn about my body, heart or mind.

I am most thankful for my ability to conquer anything, when I put my mind to it.

I am most thankful for my ability to love and listen to those around me. I feel it allows me to connect to the world.

I am most thankful for those around me who care enough to be honest with me. I know anything they say is not in spite or cruelty, but out of love and compassion, concern and encouragment. Even if it doesn't seem that way at first.

Have a good one all!

I'm mopst thankful for the joy that's there to be found everyday if I will just look for it and accept not (usually not big things, but small things that are so important for nourising my soul).

I am thankful for family - best health ever - and for WLS & this site which has enabled me to use my tool of surgery to achieve my goal of losing and maintaining.

I am thankful for my family, and especially my 3 boys. I am thankful that I will live to see them grow up and see their children and maybe their children's children.

I am thankful for the patience and persistence which has led me to win and keep winning the battle against my food demons and the compulsive overeating behaviors that created my obesity in the first place.

I am grateful that my metabolism and my body have healed themselves now that 157 pounds of fat aren't obscuring the minute cellular processes that need to go on to support my life!
