Tuesday - BOTT Cardio and Cafe`

Thought I'd post early since I already have my plan ready for tomorrow.  That will give our early birds a chance to chime in too :)

Monday went well for me.  I had a slip up in the afternoon when the candy monster called out to me, and after a really stressy day, I just gave in.  I had 6 little caramel candies, which I wouldn't have thought were 'that bad', but after adding them into my tally - ugh, not so good.  When they hit my pouch?  Definitely not so good.  Gave away the rest of the stuff I shouldn't have in my desk - Out of sight, out of mind, off my butt!

So, Tuesday is a new day, and I plan on sticking to my plan!

B - Yogurt and cereal
S - protein bar
L - Lean Cuisine BBQ chicken burrito
S - Apple and PB2 (Honey crisp apples rock!)
D - Broiled pork with stirfried apples (will share the recipe after we 'taste test it'!)
S - Pumpkin Fluff

Cardio - Walking with the puppums through the neighborhood (Tires him out, gives me some movement)

What's your plan for the day?
  Day by Day.

I will start early too.  I will be so busy in the morning I might not be able to  post.
My name is Jenna and I am new to the BOTT board.  I had my surgery back in May of 2007 I was at 265 lbs and by December of last year was down to 135lbs.  Felt I was to thin and set out to gain 10 lbs back and ended gaining 40 lbs back UGHHHH!  Now I need to get back down to 145-150 lbs.

So I am starting the five day pouch test!  Wish me luck!
I am thinking good  thought for all!!!

Good morning Jeanna!   Welcome to BOTT!

I have done the pouch test before - it was a great tool for helpinig me break the carb cycle.  Folks may poohpooh it, but if it works for you - I say go for it!

Let me know if I can help you out at all!

Welcome to the wagon :)

Hi all,

I did pretty well yesterday and hope to keep it up!
today I am having:
b=shake
l=chicken nuggets
4pm snack= low carb bread and peanut butter
dinner = ?
8pm snack = sugar free jello and cool whip

i am finding that it is really better for me just to eat the same things everyday.
variety is just too much for me to handle!

take care,
teresa

That is a very good philosophy for BOTTing, I think. Cathy frequently eats many of the same things in a day. Her pretzles, her talapia and steamed veg for dinner.... I noticed this and think its an excellent idea for those who have a struggle making good choices and keeping variety. I feel, if you find something good and good for you that you can eat every day, do it!

Morning, BOTTers!

I have no idea where my motivation went this week. I feel like working out and eating right is akin to pulling teeth! The good news is Hubby got out of his dentist surgery very well, everything was removed, 3 root canals later.... and he's back to work (if still in pain) today. Still no word on the house. I'm stressing a bit over this! But cross your fingers we'll hear SOMETHING today.

Meanwhile, I've been jealous of all this chocolate halloween candy around, so I'm doing my best to indulge in chocolate in a healthy way today. Mocha nut fudge flavor coffee, chocolate protein shake, chocolate SF Jello Mousse.... should hopefully kill the craving while staying in bounds.

Cardio - Track, walk the poochie tonight

Food -
B - Choco protein shake (designer whey and skim)
L - Left over rice-a-roni with ground beef, A1 sauce
S - Choco SF jello mousse (new, very GOOD!) and apple slices if need be
D - Cube steak, onions, mushrooms, taters au grautin

Congratulations Michelle on day two!
I too am plugging right along. So, do you find yourself wanting to get on the scales? I sure do and probably will in the morning and hope it gives me a boost for my busy day ahead. I have a lot to do tomorrow and will leave home at 3pm and not get home until 8pm so, normally I would run through drive through and get myself a salad and my daughter something. She has Driver's Ed 1.5 hrs away and there is nothing to do while there but sit and wait. So, I am dreading it tomorrow. But, I feel so much better,no full feeling,no bloating.... but, unlike you I do not find it is a lot to eat and that is why I am wondering if I have stretched my pouch or what to be able to put so much in it. That is why I have decided I must do this to get back on track with the amount of foods I eat at one time.

Cardio - Gym in 45 min
Cafe
B- 1 boiled egg 2 turkey bacon
MS - 3oz  ham & cheese
L - 3 oz turkey
AS - 3 oz turkey
D - Tuna
Will have protein drink when get home from gym.
