My surgery date was 4/2004 since that time I have gained 20lbs the bad thing about the weight gain it came back funky  meaning I didn't get bigger boobs or a bigger tu**** definitely went where it SHOULD NOT have gone, I was starting to get angry with myself and then I found the BOTT group, since being accepted into the BOTT family I realized I was not alone.  I had a co-worker say to me you are gaining weight, I thought you are never suppose to gain weight that hurt my heart and my spirit.  I started going back to the gym 5 days a week I went back to my protein drinks and I do track my progress on fit day.  It feels good to know I am not alone and I am working with others to achieve  a common goal

I understand what you are going through. Way to go for realizing what it is that you need to do to get back on track. Good luck on your progress!!

Felicia,

This is a great group to help with being BOTT.  We have all been there at some point and time. I had my surgery a year after you and started putting on weight. I gained about 26-lbs (never made it to goal weight) and am now in the process of losing the regain and shootinng for my goal.

Please post as you feel comfortable. We're here to help each other with this journey!!

You go, girl! Yes, it sucks that regain happens, but it would happen to anyone if their calories IN were greater than their calories BURNED, so don't feel bad.

We're all in this together, and can make it to goal and stay there by being aware of what we're eating and making good food choices. This is a lifelong goal...and it feels so damn good to be healthy!

It must have hurt when your co-worker said what they did - BUT you had the choice to take that and use it as a stumbling block and eat your way through it, or become a champion and use it as a stepping stone towards your goal again.

Good for you to take the tough option - well done.  And no you are not alone, we are all in this together - that's whay I love the name of this group - not just back on track, but back on track TOGETHER!!!
