Hi All, sad to say that last night I had a temporary setback.  I ate a half box of hot tamales and half box of junior mints.  Only ate half because the boxes were only half full.  I realized it was just plain crazy so I did not look for anything else stupid to eat.  Got up this morning and did 30 minutes on the treadmill.  It would have been great had I not been making up for a bad choice.  However I am happy that instead of wallowing in the mud this little piggy got up and moved forward.  Have a great weekend.

No not a setback, a stepping stone to where you want to get to.  You realised what you had done and chose your actions to count against it - that's wise.  We all make poor choices at times, but you chose to not allow yourself to keep going down that road (I've messed up so I might as well eat eat eat, etc).

I say well done and use this stepping stone for next time.

Thanks Ruth.  Still fighting the candy demon but won't give in.  I keep chanting,  Eat Protein Drink Water.

It's ok. I ate a few bites of my fiancee's snicker and cookie dough custard from Culvers and then physically and mentally felt like crap afterwards!!
