Hello to All of My BOTT Family,

I'm still here!  I have been lurking and still hopping around on these life threatening devices.  I sit as much as possible and only move around when I absolutely have too.  My son has been driving me back and forth to work, because I sprained my right ankle and left foot and I have a contusion of the left knee, so I'm kind of screwed in the mobility department.

I forgot to carry my pain meds to work with me yesterday and boy did I suffer.  I am hoping to graduate next week to a CANE!  Woohoo!  So between cough medicine and pain meds my eating is shot and I never thought I could or would miss exercising so much, but I do.  I'll be watching you!  I'm down, but not out for the count!

Good grief, Genie - you really did a job on yourself didn't you?  No wonder eating isn't your main focus right now.  Of course, with cough and pain medicine you may not give a hoot LOL

Hope by the time you read this, you a feeling much much better.  I never did manage to master crutches - for me it eaither had to ba a walker or a cane.  You may not be able to do the exercising you want to do, but I can assure you managing to get around on crutches IS exercise. Your balance should be improved 100% after doing "crutches time"

Know you have my thoughts and prayers
