Green Giant (among other brands) have those "SteamFresh" type frozen bags with brussels sprouts, some of them even with a light cheese sauce or garlic sauce. You should look for em in your freezer section!

Weyl, its a new week, I'm rejuvenated from lots of rest, and ready to tackle life and these pesky last 38 lbs. I'm pleased to say I've maintained my sickness weight loss, and even am down 1 more lb. That makes my grand total lost 8 LBS! Meaning I'm only 2 lbs away from my Thanksgiving Pledge goal! Who knows, I may pass that goal and lose a bit more by the time the holidays come. I can definitely say I see and feel the differences in my body proportions. My clothes are fitting better and I managed to squeeze my butt into a pair of pants I was embarrassed to look at 3 weeks ago due to not being able to get into them. I feel accomplished and motivated by these little steps, and I'm going to let them fuel my way to a more healthy me!

Salem was pretty fun! It was cold, but thanks to thinsulate, my mother and I both survived it. We went to several shows and a haunted house (she did really well, she's terrified of those kinds of things), learned alot about the history of the town and the witch trials, ate some BAD BAD EVIL food (some amazing chowda, bits of fries and doughboys) and walked all those calories off. It was a pretty good time, and I always love hanging out with my mom, she's my best friend.

Cardio - Hit the track even if its a bit cold. I need to get movin!

Food -
B - bout 2 oz left over chilli
S - Braised cabbage
L - Stuffed quahog (NE'ers know em as Stuffies)
S -Left over chinese shrimp n veggies
D - Teriyaki pork tenderloin and veggies
S - Apple if I need it

What on earth is quahog?  I've never heard of it.  LOL

So glad you are back to yourself.  It amazes me how much difference in size those last few pounds make.  For me even less than 5 pounds makes a significant difference in how my  clothes fit.

I'm so proud of you

A quahog (or quahaug, littleneck, cherrystone or chowda clam) is a type of clam native to New England with a "large" shell. We eat em raw, steam em, fry em, add em to soups and stews, put em in clam cakes, and best of all, grind em up with corn meal-based stuffing with other seafood and shove it back into the shell to bake. Stuffies. Click the blue quahog link for the wikipedia. They're extremely popular food here in NE around the summer/early autumn months. Just another one of our wierd-o foods. For those Family Guy fans out there, YES! The town the Griffins live in is indeed called Quahog.

Thank YOU for the encouragment! Its such a good feeling!

Thanks - looks as though I'm going to have to wait until I can get back to Boston again.  I love Boston, but if/when I have cosmetic surgery I won't be able to afford Boston for a while.
