Thanksgiving Challenge

Just wondering how we are all doing on our Thanksgiving Challenge that Sion started for us?

I've stalled for a while, and need to get my head back in the game - I've gone so far off track I'm gone offroading!!  But I must be balancing it out somewhere as I've only gained 1lb thankgoodness.

So it's BOTT for me again so that I can come somewhere close to me goal by then.  I'm looking forward to hearing from you all and how you've been doing...

Welcome back to BOTTing.   Looks like you had an attack of "human"  If you only gained one pound you ought not to be too far off what you want to weigh by Thanksgiving.  Keep us posted on your progress

thanks happy - what a great place this is.  Yes I was pleasantly surprised by the small amount of gain and encouraged myself that I must be doing better than I imagine and am human after all and not a guzzling monster!

Hey Ruth! Thanks for the check-in! I'm very glad you're catching yourself before things get out of hand, you'd be so dissapointed to go completely backwards from all your accomplishments so far. Get back on track (although offroading is darned fun, as a jeep owner, I can attest to that!)

I've amazed myself and proven its possible... this morning... 166 on the scale, making it a SOLID 10 LBS LOST! I hit my goal to lose 10 lbs before Thanksgiving this morning!!

PARTY TIME!!!

My next goal? Another 5 (or more) before Thanksgiving! I'm upping the ante on myself because I finally feel like its possible. I can really do this. I owe SO much to all of you at BOTT, and a lot of it was really wanting and working for it for myself as well. BOTT has taught me so much and supported me when I wouldn't support myself.

I DID IT!

Sion - You sure did do it   I'm so proud of you   I'm predicting you will be more than 5 pounds down by Thanksgiving - maybe even 10 more    Isn't it great to have someplace to go to know that you will be understood, accepting, and truly cared about?    Here's to BOTT POWER

See, I almost typed 10 more lbs... but I decided setting a smaller goal was more achievable. I'd rather accomplish 2 smaller goals before thanksgiving (5 lbs, then 5 more lbs) than NOT accomplish a larger goal (10 lbs). I guess its a mental thing. But this is working so far, and I feel so good.

I've lost a pants size, I THINK.... or at least, my "tight" pants are fitting better. I'd like to see those sizes continue to go down for the holidays, and be able to use my belt again. I actually think when I go bra shopping today I'll check out if there are any belts I like. They generally have sales like buy one get one at Kohls, where I'm going. It'll be a nice reward for a job well done, I think, a way to hold my pants up against my shrinking BUTT!

Thanks, Ruth! I'm glad you asked too, and I hope to hear others checking in as well, good bad and ugly. Sometimes being accountable for our flubs is the best motivation.

I am now 4 bras and 1 belt richer, as well! (I lost a bra size!... numbers, not cups. Which rawks) Lemmie tell ya, I feel like a new woman!

Thanks for the happy dance, I think I'll join ya!
