Good Friday Morning BOTT family -

CELEBRATIONS:
It's Friday , I am in the above-goal-weight cushion zone this morning, I tucked my shirt tail into my pants, it's less than a wee****il my cosmetic surgery consultation appointment (5 days - but who's counting?  LOL), my husband and friends will be here this evening

CHALLENGES:
Controlling my food intake and continue to lose to my goal weigh (or at the very least not to gain) - a pitch-in luncheon at work today for Boss' Day, my friends, whose idea of a perfect vacation is eating out, and husband will be here in time to go to dinner this evening, not know my EXACT caloric intake for the next 8 days, not letting my focus on food diminish enjoying my husband and friends beging here, getting some walking in - climbing the stairs will not be a problem

EXERCISE:
At least 12 flights of stairs along with some walking

FOOD:
B-S-L-S - 5 Health  Wise liquid proteins throughout the day - either choc drink or hot chocolate
D - Salmon at TGIF (am in the process of attempting to find out the calorie - they don't seem to have that available)

What are your celebrations and challenges today?  Please post, we need to know there are folks out there that care (at least that is so important to me!)

Peace and Joy to everyone of you

Hello BOTT Family,

CELEBRATIONS:
I am back from my vacation in Las Vegas and had a wonderful time. I lost 8lbs. walking the Las Vegas Blvd. almost everyday, and boy was I tired. The weather was absolutely gorgeous with temperatures in the mid 80's to low 90's.  I even managed to win a few dollars which was spent on a few items for ME!  Although I was having a great time I was ready to come home to the cold weather that greeted me at the airport.

CHALLENGES:
Getting back on track time wise and with my eating.  No appetite, I have a very bad cold. I was on the hotel elevator with a woman in Las Vagas.  She was standing behind me when she began to give out this nasty cough.  I could actually feel her breath on my neck.  I know she didn't cover her mouth or cough into her clothes so she did spread some pretty stong germs around.  People on the elevator were not happy to say the least let me tell you.

EXERCISE:
NONE!  I'm on crutches! I came home from Las Vagas on Tuesday and fell down my neighbors front steps on Wednesday!  Simply brilliant!  I have a sprained foot and ankle and a contusion of the left knee.  If I don't kill myself on these crutches first the doctor says 10 days to two weeks healing time.

FOOD:
Muscle Milk
Cinnamon Oatmeal
EAS Protein Shake
Ham & Bean Soup
Don't know what else is in the menu will complete later
in the day

Some of us will do ANYTHING to not exercise guilt-free   Seriously, be careful - those crutches are tricky things.  Hope you aren't in pain - at leaast, not a lot.

Glad you enjoyed Vegas  One can certainly walk there - and you did it right  - increased your $$$, decreased your weight.  PERFECT

I don't understand people who are so careless about spread their germs.  I mean, sharing is a good thing generally, but sharing germs is not a good thing at all.

I would say, "Jump for Joy Because You're You" but better not do that while you're on crutches

Have a fine day and welcome home!

Morning!... Finally feeling normal enough to start posting again, at last. I'm playing tour guide right now because I've suddenly been told O'm going to SALEM, MA tomorrow! Exciting! I've never really been there except for a house party once, and there's a lush historical background there (more than just the witch trials!) that I'm very excited. It'll be cold, rainy-poopy out, but I think I can brave it to see it for free!

This is an ineteresting new format! Lets give it a try.

Celebrations - While not the best way to do it, I was 169 for the last few days. Course it has a lot to do with being sick and everything, so I expect to see the lb to come back. It was nice to see it on the scale though! I am celebrating my returned health. Today, I think I can say I am back to par at 100% health and just neen to get back on my exercise schedule. I made good food choices yesterday even though there were challanges, so I'm proud of that. I have NO appetite since sickness, since I ate so little I think my pouch shriveled. Which is nice.

Challenges - Getting on my feet again. I get tired very easy it seems, only because I was so sick for so long. I think half of it is mental, so I'm going to do some laps inside work today and hope that pulls some of me back together. I want it. (just gotta want it) So I don't think it'll be too hard a mountain to climb.

Exercise - Laps in work. I foresee MANY walking miles getting in tomorrow. I'll be sure to wear comfy shoes/boots.

Food -
B - bout 2-3 oz left over chilli
L - Left over meat loaf and butternut squish
S - Apple slices
D - likely left over chilli, mom and dad are out, DH is off CAMPING (HAHA I AM SO NOT JEALOUS!)

I am now a HOME OWNER!   Check out my House Blog!

Sion - So glad you are on the mend.  What could be better than gloom and cold for a tour of Salem at this time of year!  We went there back in the '90s and I found that whole area marvelous and fascinating.  I might even be brave and buck the cold weather to be able to do what you're doing (and that's saying a LOT).   Just, please, don't overdo.  The Weather Channel is having a "What I Like About Fall" contest - well, what I like about fall is that I live in Florida and I don't have to worry about SNOW coming!!!!  (I don't think that would win the contest for me though - even though it is heartfelt!)

By the way - I forgot to list on my Celebrations that I discovered a way to NUKE spaghetti squash.  Who would have though it?  Even I didn't think spaghetti squash could be nuked and that's why I rarely cook it.  Think the calories in it are so low I can even use real spaghetti sauce.  Now this is definately something to celebrate BIG TIME!

Please feel free to change the format - I'm not as good at this as the rest of you so will welcome relinquishing opening the thread for the day.

Happy weekend
