Back On Track Together
*sigh* back again
Hi everyone!
Not that I don't love you, but I am sad that I need to be "back on track" indicating I have been off track... but here I am.
I have been really off track for a few weeks, and the scale shows it - I'm up 8 lbs from my lowest. I want to stop this nonsence NOW, before it gets totally out of hand.
I am "on" sugar. I say "on" because it really does feel like a drug to me. So, that being said, I'm not "off" sugar yet, but today has been a much better day than previous. But - sugar is my downfall, no doubt, and I think (at this point, it feels more like fear) it will have to go totally.
Anyway, I just wanted to check in a say hi. I'm here... working on being BOT a moment at a time.
Thanks!

HI there and welcome back. For me, I think I have realised that I will always need to watch and try being BOT for the rest of my life as for me it's cookies that are my weak point.
But you've done well to stop and take stock sooner rather than later and that's a good thing. Go back to basics, do what you know you should be doing and stop what you know you shouldn't be doing (easier said than done i know!!)
Keep working at it

WELCOME! We've all been where you are. You know, actually, it's kind of unreasonable to think we will go the next 100 years and never get off track After all, we are human and, inconvenient as it may be, humans simply are not perfect. But you are so wise - 8 pounds is quite manageable once back on track - it is so good you are taking care of it before it gets to be 18 - 28- 78 pounds. GOOD FOR YOU
You've already done the hardest part - you've said enough is enough and are seeking help. I don't think you will find a more caring, accepting, understanding, helpful group than the people here. I don't believe I could have gotten back/stayed on track without them. I call them my angels in disguise as humans. I hope you find this site as helpful as I have. - again WELCOME

Not to worry, you are not alone. I too, am back here to get on track again. I have let the stress of life take its toll and it showed on the scale this morning. I am committed to measuring and logging my food again and getting off my behind and moving my body. I realized that there will always be stress in my life and I need to learn to see the positive and not hide behind food when things get rough.
Hang in there, we can do this!
