Friday - BOTT Cardio and Café
Happy Friday, y'all! And as far as I'm concerned, bring on the weekend! What a rough morning, today. Just a combination of over sleeping, running late, feeling off and whatnots. I'll get over it.
On a brighter note, I've conquered my dehydration and am 100% back to normal today. Now I've just got to keep at the water to ensure it doesn't happen again (yeah right, just like unforseen snacking never happens!).
Hoping to hear something about the house today. Supposedly today was the day they would let us know yea or nay. My mom has confidence, she says she can't imagine they'd be going through all the trouble getting the sellers info up to date and all their paperwork if they were just going to say no. Keep your fingers crossed!

B - Dunkin Donuts wake-up wrap
L - Oven baked cod and veggies

After 5 days of limiting my calories to "lose a pound a week" weight after my pig out I've held, lost .02, lost.02. hled, and gained .04 with some increase in exercise every day. So.......decided my body must be in self-preservation from starvation mode and I will up it from 1050 to 1150 calories today and see what happens. OK - no problem Right? Wrong!!!! I walk into staff meeting this morning and what to my wondering eyese should appear but i big ole box of doughnuts - included cream filled, chocolate iced. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Now here's the drum roll: Didn't even touch one (not that I go around touch food I don't intend to eat). But did I ever WANT to snatch one and return when the room was emply and no one would see me (shades of the FAT me!) and gobble down ALL that were left over.
I'd like to say it was all because of good character (I'll claim being A character, but don't even pretend to have GOOD character LOL) but that wasn't the case. My "thought control mechanism" was that Tuesday I found out I may be able to have cosmetic surgery, since I want my husband to go to the consultation with me and this month when he comes down another couple will be here too I thought I'd have to wait until December (which is the next time he will be here - in Nov we're going to NM and I will be going back to Indiana for Thanksmas) because it wouldn't be "nice" to go when our friends are only here for a week. Well...................when I talked to my husband last night he said he had already told them we would be gone for a day, so I called the dr this morning and was able to reschedule my consultation appointment for Oct 21. I'm so excited I could pogo stick up and down the hall! (That's pogo figuratively of course as I've never managed to be able to get my second foot up on a pogo stick) I didn't know for sure I would be able to reschedule until after the staff meeting, but I did know there was a possiblity I could have the surgery - that got me through staff meeting and the knowing I have an appointment in a week and a half has taken care of slipping back in and eating ANY leftovers. yeah
so it's stairs and wallking and no more than 1150 calories of good BOTT food.
I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL Holy run-on sentance, Batman! Wow, Happy, I'm so glad for you, how exciting! That's some huge news. I am looking forward to your Oct 22nd post now! (on a side note, I almost wanted to do a guiness book of world records challenge for pogoing, because for some reason, as a kid I was uncannily good at it)
Way to go resisting those Boston Creames too! Ugh, my worst enemy is Boston Creame donut holes (munchkins) they have here. Since Dunkin HQ is local here, they test out all their new ideas here before deciding to put them on the national menu. They have Boston Creame munchkins right now, which by the way, are to DIE for... and it kills me to resist when someone is cruel enough to bring in a few dozen to the office. It reminds me that I have a good SF recipe for home made boston creame munchkins... and should take the time to make em sometime. I bought pillsbury No Sugar Added cake, frosting and brownie mixes to spoil mom and I this weekend.

Sion - by the way, my chicken thighs were wondrful done in the Zip n Steam bag. Nuked them about 15-30 seconds longer than perfect (but they were still very good) and felt like quite the chef shaking (and rubbing) Emeril chicken rub on them. (See what you real cooks are missing out on - bet you don't get a thrill from just shaking on Emeril chicken rub LOL)

Its a self-training course online called www.coolrunning.com, my mom pointed it out to me and I really liked the idea and was so proud of her for being gung-ho that I said I'd be her time keeper and would train with her.
