Thurday is heeeeeere!

I'm still fighting that dehydration today, so I'm taking a new course of action. Propel and Vitamin C OJ. Tons of it. 40 oz propel, 15 oz OJ, hopefully all before Noon. I feel if I can pull this off, the electrolytes will assist in retention and the vitamin C will help in keeping my health up while I fight it. I have already had 20 oz propel and about 5 oz OJ, and I feel like my belly is sloshing when I move. Its kinda wierd feeling, but I think today I will kick this.

On a higher note, I've accomplished one of my LONG term goals today! No, I didn't get below 170 yet, but that's fine. I've made a strait line with no fatty bump from the outside line of my hip up to my waist. I have one of those "classic hour glass figures" that has become somewhat lumpy since my regain. One of my goals was to get rid of those plump little love handles between my waist and hip. This morning, while on the scale, I looked in the mirror and... VOILA! Like magic, it had dissapeared, on BOTH sides! I was dancing for joy! One long goal accomplished, and I thank all the WALKING on the track for it. I'm sure that's what helpped mostly.

I didn't bring food for lunch today so I'll be winging my menu. I may plan to go get a roasted turkey breast from the super market.

Cardio - Track and walk the pooch

B - Egg beaters egg whites, 2 slices oscar meyer ready made bacon and a bit of cheese to hold it together

Way to go Sion!!!!!!!! I love those hourglass figures.

Yesterday I got a call about 5:30 from the trainer at the high school, my oldest son had a helmet to helmet hit in football practice and had to be taken to the ER. After tests and a CT scan they determined that he did not have a cuncussion, just a really bad hit. He woke up this morning with a stiff, sore neck but the headache was gone. He is kind of bummed because the Doc said no practice or games for 7 days.

Today kind of winging it during the day but having chucken enchiladas for dinner. Hope everyone has a successful BOTT day.

YEAH, Sion!!!!!!    Oh how I wish my love handles would disappear!!!!  In fact, I wi**** so much I have a Dec 21 appt with a cosmetic surgeon to see if there's anyway I can afford to be de-lovehandled.

Wayne, isn't it funny that when you're in high school whether or not you have a concussion is irrelevant, it's the restriction of practice/games that's important.  LOL

I am really paying for last week's pig out.  The scales are barely moving - thank goodness the movement they are making is down, but it is sure slow.  Wouldn't you think I might learn a lesson from theis and not do it again   I can only hope (well, actually, hoping isn't the answer, getting on with compliance is the answer)  LOL

I am so scared of pushing my exercise because I HAVE to be able to climb the stairs in just a few weeks (starting Nov 2) so don't want to risk doing anything that might set off my sciatica nerve.  I am increasing my walking and stair climbing - but climbing more often but not more all at the same time.  Once a day I'm climbing up my condo stairs to the 7th floor but all other times only climbing one or two flights.  So far, this has worked.

I'm cutting back on my calories a little (by about 50) today to see if my body will listen and get going.  My constipation remains a problem.  Good grief - can't imagine today why I pigged out last week - seemed like a fine idea at the time though  Grrrrrrrrr   This being human is sure a bother at times.

Peace and joy to all -

Oh yes, Sion - you will be so proud of me.  I cooked last night - well, my version of cooking.  Of course I nuked it, but I stirred up a meatloaf from scratch.  Found some turkey (in the "breakfast meats" section of the freezer) sausage so mixed 1 lb of turkey sausage, 1 pound of group buffalo, 1 cup of original egg beaters, 1 can drained mushroom stems & pieces, 1 can drained french cut green beans and some dried minced onion.  Made 8 big servings  Each serving was 124 cal, 7g fat, 33mg cholest, 432 mg sodium 3g carb 1 g sugar, 1g fiber and 4 g protein.  Pretty tasty if I do say so myself.

Knew you'd be impressed!!!   And what's more - I'm going to cook chicken thighs in the Zip and Steam bag this evening.  Will wonders never cease

Do you need to go to the Dr. to get your electrolytes ballanced?  This has been going on for several days now.  Take VERY GOOD care of yourself

What's going on with the house now?

This is a chronic thing I deal with occassionally due to a past history with a kidney isuse. I get chronic symptoms similar to a UTI, but its not a UTI. Its a dehydration issue because I never ever drink enough. I generally can shake it within 3-4 days as long as I ensure to get in my water/salt/electrolytes. I feel it already that it's much much better.

Woo with the chicken! Let me know how that goes, are those going to be bone-in? I never knew you could nuke bone-in meat. Neat!

Well today or tomorrow I'll hopefully get some kind of final say from the seller's bank... but the Oct 15 closing date will obviously have to be pushed back, I think we're going to go for Devil's Night (Oct 30th). Sounds appeasing to me.

I've nuked both bone in and without bone - but these happen to be skinless boneless thighs.  I can obviously give up the bone (even when I pig out I don't eat the bones LOL),  it's a sacrifice, but one I'm willing to make, to give up the skin, but I just draw the line at eating white meat which I detest instead of dark meat which I love.  I'm going to use Emeril's chicken rub (how's that for  being a "real cook")  - Emeril no less WOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds as though you know how to take care of yourself - glad you're on the mend!

Why is it banks never seem to remember they are dealing with people (they seem to think it's all about numbers - silly banks) and they seem to think there's no rush?  Devil's night seems appropriate to me LOL  Keep us posted.
