Back On Track Together

October Goals

Since the September goals went well, I thought I would post my list for October.

*  Work out more often.  - This was where I struggled last month, so I am going to be a bit more easy on myself with this one, but still make it a priority.
*  Try one new fruit or vegetable a week.
*  Continue trying one new bariatric recipe a week. (And posting them here if they turn out good!)

Those are my goals for October.  I know they seem to be a little lighter than last months, but I know that this month is going to be crazy with work and some other stuff going on, so I'd rather make them realistic than stress myself out and not be able to do what I want to do!

How about you - what's your plan for October?

Hi Kellieb:

I haven't had goals for a while. Just trying to quit grazing. My husband noticed that I've gained some weight back and asked if I could have a "redo" on my WLS. Good grief, what have I done? It is depressing. I have a friend who is doing a group for OA (overeaters annon) which I might join.

Goals: Eat sensibly and follow the rules
Exercise (walk or treadmill) at least 5 times a week
Fill out an eating record daily to track calories etc.

Gotta do it! Would appreciate some hugs.

Hugs & happy wishes,
Rudie

Hi Rudie :)

Setting goals will be the easiest way for you to get back on track and on the way to where you want to be.  (At least it is for me!)

Hang in there - come hang out with us too - we've got lots of folks who are GREAT support when you need it.  And never be afraid to ask for a hug - I've got a million of them to give :)

**HUGS**

Just read your blog - you have come a long way and, it hasn't been smooth. But, like you told me, we go back to the basics! It's so good to know we're not alone and we've got some support and hugs from this bunch of sweeties.

Just for tomorrow I'll get on the treadmill and I'll eat 5 little meals and follow the rules and drink the water.

Grazing is a bad trait and we don't live in a pasture - and we can fix nutritious meals for ourselves and DH and whoever.

Thanks so much for your support and hugs, Eileen.

Well, today's goal is to eat BOTT since I mucked that up royally this past week.  BOTT POWER I'm drawing from you big time.

Then - to BOTT my way to my goal weight.  I have some major challenges - guests for a week that eat out 3 x a day and want me to go with them when I'm available (evenings and weekends) and a week in Santa Fe for a seminar and a bit of sight seeing (I do have a fridge and microwave reserved for our room).  Won't be posting here that week but will stick to this site like glue the rest of the month.

It's been a while since I've been here but it is time to get it together. I haven't lost any additional weight but I've haven't gained either. My goals for October:

Workout 5 days a week - Just bought a Wii and headed out at lunch to buy Wii Fit Plus today
Eat what I cook - Fast food is the devil, I need to stay away from it
Spend more time with my family - Been working out of town alot and long hours when I am home
Log my food and post it here daily

I am glad to be back here and am going to do my best to work at my goals this month.

I think I'm going to keep my goals simple for this month, to make them easier to accomplish.

- Keep walking the track every day, or at least as often as possible
- Continue to eat small portions of good food
- Get below 170 (I am hoping for 165)
- Wake up every morning ready to conquer the day
