September Goal Report - How did you do?

For those of us who made goals for September, it's time to check back and see how we did on them.

These were mine -

*  Log EVERYTHING in my food journal (item, calories, protein, and carb)  (No matter how embarassing or badly planned it may be)  (I already do this, I want to keep myself motivated to 'keep going')
*  Drink at least 3 liters of water a day.  (That's about 12 servings)  (I've been working my way up to this, and am pretty close right now)
*  Hit the gym at least 3 times a week for cardio on the tread mill, 1 time a week for weight training, and one night of yoga a week
*  Try 1 new bariatric recipe a week.

For the most part, I did really well.  I logged everything on all but 4 days - and those days were 'excused' because I was in the hospital or on my way to Wyoming for vacation and didn't eat much of anything.  I hit my goal with water every day too - which I am very glad of.  I have become a Crystal Lite lemonade addict however - and am glad I can buy it in bulk from Amazon :)  I have not been to the gym as I planned - I'm not sure why it's such an effort to get me to go there, but I am hoping that I can make it my October priority and be reporting a success in November :)   The recipe thing has gone well too - I haven't posted all of them here - but we've tried a bunch of new things, and what's even better is DH loves them too! (That is a win!)

So, how did YOU do this month?
  Day by Day.

I think I did pretty good for the month. I changed my eating habits and exercise, and lost 5 lbs doing it, and so far, have kept them off. I'm very pleased with my accomplishments. I am half way to accomplishing my Thanksgiving pledge. I think I can do this successfully, and I feel very satisfied with my progress.

I've also got the family considerig more healthy options for food, and we have experimented together with mugglettes, egg beaters, Zip n Steam dinners and other healthy options. I'm glad to see them so on board, although it helps that my Mom is a post-op too. In fact, I've taken a lead from HER and really reduced my portion sizes, which is helping as well in curbing my hunger, feeling satisfied and not overfull.

All in all, September was a success for me.
