Apparently I need small goals so I'm starting with staying on trac****il the next meal.  I've planned breakfast, snack(2) and lunch.  Planning head for success.

that's a good plan - one step at a time - it doesn't matter what size the step is.  Actually the smalle rteh step the more successful you'll be and easier to build a firm foundation to build up from.
