I know that if I start here I will be able to get back on track....
Hello Lupe75,
Welcome to BOTT, there are plenty of people here to offer advice and suggestions however; you need to be a little more specifc. I would assume that you have stopped taking your vitamins as well as your calcium suppliments? You're asking about vitamins, what is it you would like to know? You might also check out this link prepared for BOTT Vitamins & Suppliments:

WELCOME Remember, we've all have needed to get back on track or we would not be here. I know that without the caring, support, acceptance and understanding of the folks here, I would never have been able to get back/stay on track. I call them my angels in disguise as humans

Hi and welcome, Lupe!
Y're right, sometimes starting at vitamins is really the best and easiest change to help us BOTT. I posted to another new user, Eileen, not long ago about what I did to ensure I take my vites every morning.
I Quote:
"Vitamins were the BANE of my existance ever since my surgery. I never dedicated to them. I'd go a week taking them, then start slipping, then next thing you knew, it'd been 2 months without taking a one. Yeah, the doctor can berate you, yeah, DH can poke you... but it really is up to YOU to take them. What did it for me, though?... I associated vitamins with feeling full and losing weight. Sounds wierd. But I tricked my head into beliving that these chewey fruity chalky bites were making me less hungry, and giving me nutrients to allow me to eat less, but not feel exhausted all day. (Funny part is... I half believe its true!)... and when I decided to really dedicate to BOTTing, step 1 was ensuring I took my vitamins EVERY morning. How did I do it? I wouldn't allow myself coffee until all my vites were in. Now I'm a coffee FREAK, drink 6 cups a day, or so. I love it, its my candy. So denying myself coffee for 2 days because I was too lazy to take my vites taught me an extreme lesson. I haven't missed a day since. If you can find a way to get your mind and body associating vites with something GOOD (aka, ), I think you can get back in the habit of taking them again."
Now as for if you're not sure WHICH vitamins to take, let us know that, and that's a different story entirely!
Welcome again, I'm glad you joined us!

Thanks so much for all of the responses. I really need to know the amounts because yes I've stopped a while ago. I also would like to know if there is any brand better then others? I need to get back to exercise and on my meal plan. I would like to know if there is more information on the 5 day pouch test?
What you need sort of depends on your bloodwork, but generally, I take a centrum chewable, a chewable fiber, a chewable calcium, sub-lingual B-12, and chewable iron (because my iron was low post-op). You can cut out the fiber if you don't need it.
There is an entire website www.5daypouchtest.com . It is exactly the regimen you were put on after surgery, condensed into 5 days. some people think of it as a crash diet, for others, it works. You have to do what you think is best.
