Happy FRIDAY!!!!

I highly suggest you all read Ruth's "Weekly Weigh In" post for some great inspiration today!

I haven't been so happy in a long time. I find any excuse to smile and laugh lately. I like it. I feel good, good about what I'm doing for myself, and how I feel doing it. I love being sore. Sore allows me to fell that "Thin person inside me" fighting to get out. Pain is just weakness escaping... all those great mantras.

I drank some wine at Stoop Night last night. I had 3 glasses.  I felt pretty good, and what's great is I was able to STOP when I wanted to, chug some agua, and do a bunch of sit-ups because the booze made my sore muscles go away, hehe. I used it to my advantage. It felt good to be able to stop on my own, though

What are YOU doing this weekend? I think I'm doing lots of chores, walking, bathing the pets, walking, sit ups, walking and hopefully a trip to the eye doc for some new specs.  Looks like we're alone most of the weekend ('rents are going to the PATS game, then the SOX game, buggars) so I'll have to get creative with some yummy, healthy food.

Cardio -  Hit the TRACK. It'll only hit a high of 66* today, PERFECT walking weather.

Food -
B - 2 slices Wonder light wheat bread and ICBINB (bad accent included)
S - Don't really have any, might take an early lunch
L - Grilled salmon and dill sauce, some kinda yummy veggie
S - Clam CHOWDA if its a good lookin soup. Salad if not.
D - Whatever Mum's planning. I still have a Fish n Chips coupon, I might talk em into that

A bit behind time today - had an 8:50 dr's appointment this morning, was his first patient, and actually saw him at 9:40.  For some reason, I am a spectacular success (not the kind Ruth was talking about either) at growing plantar warts on the bottom of my feet - he froze off 3 this morning - one was a big one.  Glad that's over - surprisingly - not to painful to walk for which I am grateful!

Added more calories yesterday as Sion suggested but this morning spooked when the scales went up over a pound so am cutting back a little and having mostly my chocolate drinks - not a sacrifice at all as I love my chocolate drinks and the are quite nutritious.  Think one day of this, two at the most, and I will be back centered where I want to be.

Have to go now and try and do a day's work in four hours - YEAH FOR THE WEEKEND!!!!

I'm sorry it didn't work out the right way the first try. I think its a combination of intake and output (exercise, that is) which you're cutting back on due to your poor nerve. Maybe once you're feeling better and there aren't random fleshy bits missing from your poor feet, you can try again and see if it works.

I've read alot about how people eat the extra calories they exercise off. I've been curious about this. I'm not sure it works the same way for people who've had WLS. Maybe that's the trade secret of the 15 calories a pound to maintain thing. I'll keep up researching!
