Back On Track Together
Ever hear of this CD? I really am enjoying it...
I got a new CD for my workouts at the YMCA... it's a great inspiration!!! The title is "Skinny Songs" and more info on it is available at www.skinnysongs.com . Check it out... lots of fun for those of us fighting weight control and an exercise balance :-). Just a fun workout CD that some of you might like to check out :-)

Haven't heard of it - but sounds like a great motivater - especially driving home after work when I'm tired and just want to eat the easiest, fastest, food in the house when I get home. Also sounds as though it might make me laugh - and more and more scientific studies are proving that laughter is beneficial to mind, soul, and body in a multitude of ways. (I'm not sure exactly how one goes about scientifically studying laughter - but I'm all for it!!!!
Thanks for sharing - think I'll order it - wish there was a way to hear a little of it before buying - but when I get home this evening will check out the lyrics.
Love,
Kathy
I've been one of the lurkers here on at our group :-). I am working out at the local YMCA Mon , Wed. and Fridays. I walk a mile, do a mini circuit workout, a few other weight machines, twenty minutes on the exercise bike, then off to the pool for water exercise and then my twenty minutes in the hottub...oh so relaxing.
Thursday nights I've signed up for Adult Learn to Swim classes. I don't know how to swim and they say lap swimming is great. Not sure if this old dog can learn a new trick but I'm gonna try it for six weeks :-).
I've sent my application for Cleveland CLinic to see if I can get a second opinion there on my surgery. My weight has ballooned up to 250+ now. Something is drastically wrong with my RNY but without a surgeon on my side... I can workout all I want and still not weight loss only gains.
Trying to keep an upper hand on my weight as it's spiraling out of control. I can only try to be my own best advocate and dream of becoming the thinner newer me that the first RNY just didnt' bring to me. Thanks for asking... its' nice to know my absence has been noticed :-).
I'll post more as things progress...
Love,
Kathy
