Tuesday - BOTT Cardio and Cafe

Morning, BOTTers!

Its Tuesday, its sunny, its warm, and I've gone to the gym already this morning.  I worked hard, I feel good, and I need to get back there more often. I can't believe how hard it was just to stretch out. Although I'm proud of the amount of weight I could lift. I plan to get back there as often as I can. You forget how good you feel after the gym, because getting to the gym and actually working out is such a "hassle" that you forget the great aftermath.

I packed a yummy good lunch today full of protein and high fiber. I didn't get on the scale this morning, I think because I didn't want to see it higher than that 3 lbs lost... I will maybe wait till Thursday, which would be a week from the original weigh-in. Or Monday, which is the last time I got on the scale. I dunno. I don't like planning those things.

Cardio - Went to the gym already. May try to get on the track today. Will definately walk the poochie tonight. We did a mile and a half last night!!

Food -
B - 2 slices Wonder light wheat toast w/ PB
S - Protein balls
L - left over spare ribs and broccoli
S - WW cheese sticks, 100 cal pack sunchips if I need it
D - I have no idea what mom's planning.

Folks - this is the first day of the rest of my life - this is the day I'm planning my food on the 1540 calories mydailyplate says I can eat and maintain my goal weight.  For the first time in my life, I know how to plan.  My pledge to me and to all of uou is that I'm going to make it

EXERCISE:
I've already walked a little and climbed one flight of stairs - my sciatica nerve is still "iffy" so want to be careful not to overdo.  Will  walk a bit more and probably climb one more flight of stairs.

FOOD:
B - Unjury protein - 100 cal
      Quaker Instant Weight Control oatmeal - 160 cal
S - Health Wise choc chip cookies - 200 cal
      HW choc drink - 80 cal
L - Hormel Lean smoked ham - 225 cal
      4 T Kraft free miracle whip -60 cal
      1 whole egg + 3 egg whites - 121 cal
      Mt. Olive sweet pickle relish - 0 cal
      HW choc drink - 80 cal
S - HW choc drink - 80 cal
D - Bariatrix (Proti) Veg spaghetti bolognese - 190 cal
      Stella D'Oro Breakfast treats - 100 cal
      Market Pantry Light apple juice - 60 cal

1516 cal          163g carb          130g protein

I weighed .04 of a pound in my over-goal-weight cushion zone this morning.  A little scary but keep reminding myself it is a CUSHION ZONE and it's OK to be there.  (Wouldn't scare me one little bit to be .04 of a pound in my below-goal-weight cushion zone - go figure)

Thanks Genie - You know me don't you?    This is a timely message - this morning I walked a little extra before coming up to my office and was soooooo tempted to climb 2 flights of stairs, but told myself to cool it - to hold the day's TOTAL down to 2 and climb the second flight later in the day - not put all the strain on by dlimbing 2 at once.     I have to be able to navigate 6 flights by the first of November when they begin putting the new elevator in at my condo - but there's nothing that says I have to climb them without stoping and resting a short time along the way.  I don't have to go up like I'm on a galloping horse!!!!!

Thanks for caring  You're a dear!!!!   You make my days brighter. 

(Sounds like maybe it was a toothache that happened!)
