Good Morning my wonderful family

Kelli - I'm sure you've told us, but the old noodle-bean isn't functioning too well today so would you please tell me again - where are you going, will you be coming back to this job, how long will you be gone, will you be posting while you are gone?

I don't know what's going on buy I have been SO forgetful already this morning.  I guess it began Friday afternoon (I was fighting depression big time Friday) when I left my ID at work - didn't miss it until this morning and I have to have it to get on base.  I had already eaten my breakfast when I realized I had forgotten to weight - CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT - FORGOT TO WEIGH!!!!   Definately asleep at the switch   Then had to turn around and go back for my lunch - you know I'm forgetful when I don't remember to pack my FOOD!!!!   I can only hope my brain-fade has run it's course for the forseeable future!!!!

Today I am at 1500 calories on my way to 1500 calories for maintenance.  I've decided to be really brave - mydailyplate says I can eat 1539 calories/day to maintain my goal weight - so tomorrow I am not only going to go up to 1530 calories but am going to throw caution to the wind and round it off to 1540!!!  Whoop-tee-do!!!!!  Be still my beating heart - the excitement is overwhelming

This morning the escalator was shut down so I took that as heavenly intervention saying it was safe to add one flight of stairs to my exercise today - so I did and, so far, not even a tinge of nerve pain so that is great.  Will also walk some - have a full patient load so am not sure how much opportunity I will have.

See you all tomorrow

Morning Happy :)

DH and I are heading to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone in Wyoming.  We'll be visiting my Sister in Law for DH's birthday, and then spending 4 days exploring Yellowstone with our cameras.   I'm not sure if I'll be able to post while I'm there, because Internet is spotty at the lodges, but I will be filling everyone in on the fun stuff when I get back home! (And yes, I WILL miss you guys!)

Glad to hear  your nerve pain is in control this morning :)  And I completely understand the morning brain fog.  I swear that I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached!

Have a great day :)

Morning All!!

Well I made it through the game without seriously blowing my protocol.  Had a Jalapeno Sausage - no bun (DH ate it :)) and 4 beers.  What sucked was that the Cowboys lost 33-31...otherwise an awesome experience and I got to have my beers and did not even blow my calorie count or carb count for the day!!

OH...BTW...One more pound gone this morning...12 pounds total in the last 4 weeks.  Not too shabby!!!  Granted, it's not coming off quite as fast as it did when I first had surgery, but I will accept this gratefully!!

CARDIO - twisted my ankle walking back to the car last night, so taking it easy today.

CAFE -

B - Eggs and cheese
S - boiled egg
L - tuna salad
S - SF banana pudding w/protein mixed in
D - something with chicken...have not figured out what yet!
S - SF banana pudding w/protein mixed in.

Have a wonderful day!!
