Good morning!

Hope everyone is doing well this beautiful late summer morning.  It's kind of chilly here in NC, which makes me homesick for Pennsylvania where I grew up.  Nothing like the beauty of fall, the crisp air, and the smell of leaves in the air.  I think I'm going to try some of Hungry Girl's apple recipes this weekend - and make it feel a little more 'fall ish' in my house.

Here's my plan for the day;

Cardio - Walking and chasing my niece this evening. (I"m babysitting a 1yo)

Food -

B - Protein Shake
S - Yogurt and Cereal
L - Roast Beef and Cheese on crisp breads
S - Fruit
D - Wendy's chili and a salad
S - Protein Shake

Have a great day folks!
  Day by Day.

Kelli - I grew up in Indiana but I have a whole different take on fall.  To me it is a trick Mother Nature uses to try to lure me into a sense of well beling so I will forget that S N O W and C O L D are on the way.  As far as I'm concerned those are the most evel four-letter words in our language LOL

Today's food is 1200 calories on my way to 1500.  Still in my below-goal weight cushion zone as I add 50 calories a day.  Needless to say, that pleases me - my head knows that as I add calories the day may come when I'm in my above-goal weight cushion zone and that's when it gets scary.  Will just have to deal with that when the day comes.   1500 calories is a tiny bit below what mydailyplate says I can eat and maintain my goal weight.  They have been right on so far, so I'm going to trust them on this

I'm adding climbing one flight of stairs to my daily walking (have already climbed them for today) to see if my sciatica nerve will tolerate it.  So far/so good.

Happy BOTTing to one and all

Good morning good morning, BOTT!

I live in New England and love love love autumn. Crisp air, sweaters and scarves, brisk wind, colorful trees, crunchy leaves under your feet... love love love it. I'd never live anywhere else, if only to be able to be in New England for Autumn.

I've been battling a headache since getting home from my War Weekend. I wonder if its lack of sleep, dehydration, or what... I'm trying to hydrate a lot today (Did a much better job than usual yesterday) and hit the sack early tonight. Meanwhile, lots of coffee, some tylenol and try to keep the brain busy.

OH, the latest on the house... the bank has approved our "Short Sale" package and its been sent for "Final Approval" as of last Friday the 11th. They said it should only take 10 business days to process, meaning my offer should be 100% approved by the 25th. Cross your fingers for us!

Cardio - Hit the track if my head doesn't implode, walk the poochie after dinner

Food -
B - 1/2 Subway chix parm flat bread
S - Might skip it
L - Other half
S - 2 oz filet steak, some cheesey rice
D - Corned beef and cabbage (HELLOOOOOOOO AUTUMN!!! WOOOO!!! can you tell this is my fave?)

I am now a HOME OWNER!   Check out my House Blog!

Hi BOTTers,

I'm with all of you, I love the Fall.  It is my favorite time of year.  The beauty of the changing colors, the crisp Fall air and the transition from hot and humid to a more peaceful feeling in nature.

I'm really reflective today so I hope you don't mind me sharing with you.  I'm sad that Patrick Swayze passed away and lost his fight with pancreatic cancer.  I was a fan and wanted to be Jennifer Grey dancing with him (who didn't!).  I admired his fight and courage he's displayed since being diagnosed.  My father died from pancreatic cancer.  Before you make the connection that it reminds me of my father and makes him miss him, that isn't it.  My father couldn't love and never cared about family, especially me.  So it is more the regrets and wishes that things would have been different for me with my father and my non-existent relationship with him that I longed for all my life.  I hope you don't mind me sharing something so personal and heavy but I'd want all of you to feel the same way that this is a safe place to share whatever is going on and in your heart, life.

Here's my check-in:

CARDIO:  Not today.  Despite that I have 50 hours to put into today, I feel like being reflective and quiet.

FOOD:

Cottage cheese
Slices of roast beef with sugar free bbq sauce
Onion soup
Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels
Tilapia with green beans
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Power Crunch bar

Have a terrific Tuesday as we BOTT.  BOTT POWER!!
