Hello All! I am glad I found this group. I got sleeved in November 2008. I have lost 40 pounds and have not gained or lost since then. My mom died in January 09. I got off track of course. Everytime I try to get back on course with my weightloss, something happens or I procrastinate. I was getting back on track a couple of weeks ago. Then my Aunt passed away. I have been out on bereavment for a week now. I have decided to get back on track this time! And to take it day by day. Regardless of what happens, to keep it up. I know I will feel a lot better physically and emotionally by excercising. I may try an all liquid diet for a week. Just to get jump started. I am attending a local support OH meeting today. And looking for any other that I can attend. I need all the positive support I can get. I hope and pray all is well with everyone else. Thanks for reading my post. Thank you for the support!
God bless you all. Have a great week:)

Welcome!!! Remember it's not where you've been that counts, its where you are going...this is a great place to start and maintain...

Thanks! I am getting myself mentally ready. Using affirmations. Will attend my first support group in a while. Hopefully I can get some phone numbers of fellow wls.  I am  going to the store and get all the food I need to get back on track. I will do the soft diet for 5 days. Yougart, puddings, jello and soups. And do 1 mile of walking. NOthing too strenuous as I am just getting back on track. MOst of it is not being too hard on myself. And taking it day by day. Thanks again for your support!

I LOVE what you posted.  You are so right....it isn't where you've been that counts, it is where you are going.  I too needed your reminder.

Thanks! Cathy

Hi Sally,

Welcome to BOTT!  We're glad you're here with us.

My sympathies to you for your recent losses.  I know how difficult it is to lose someone you love.

Hang out here with us on BOTT.  This group has some of the most special people you'll ever find.

It sounds as though you are doing all the right things with exercising, getting back on track with your foods and support.

I hope you'll post often and be involved with us here.

I'm so sorry for you losses.  I can feel with you as I had a son die about a year ago.  It hurts.

Perhaps you could dedicate getting back on goal as a love offering to those you love who have passed.  A kind of a living memorial that you know would make them happy.

Just take it 5 minutes at a time.  Even we can resist temptation for 5 minutes (LOL)  Then the next 5 min, then the next, etc.  and guess what, you will come to the end of the day having achieved a good BOTT day.  I wish you well.
