Okay Sion, just kill me now...those commercial breaks are just too darn long!  I did two sets of 20 situps and 1 set of 10 pushups...OMG!

I know.  Did you notice just how many commericals they stick in one show?  That is just way too many pushups and situps.

I am just getting home from work, so I am eating dinner and decompressing.  Give me another hour, and I will work on the commercial breaks.

You aren't kidding!! I tried doing it too, and darnit, its like there's a commercial break ever 5 minutes and its longer than the show segment was! So I opted for every other commercial break and do 2 sets of sit-ups and 2 sets (if I could manage em) push-ups. It worked out for a 1 hour long show and I feel great!

OK Sion - I'll sign on for 1/2 a dare.  (Gimme a break - I'm 76 years old!!! LOL)  Will you let me in on this for 1/2 dare?

I'm starting the dare today by thinking about it (In Southern talk - I'm fixin' to do it)  Will do some tonight before I go to sleep, but not quite ready to PROMISE to do 10 - will report tomorrow how many I actually do.

My next question is - what's lurking in that "evil" mind of yours for next week's dare?  If it's xxx more than this week - I'm not going to break my buns to do a whole bunch this week

Oh yes, it's sit-ups I/m talking about - thinking about doing ANY pushups gives me a major case of the giggles it's so absurd LOL

LOL, Happy, I love ya and you do what works best for your routine to add a little something extra. Or in that Southern talk, y'all do whachyanta.

Hah, no lie, my first set of push-ups on my knees getting all rug burned and my chest hitting the carpet... I was snickering too. Likely why the last 3 were so hard, I was in mid-fit.

As for next week, no no, I was going to target other sections of the body. I was thinking thigh/buns, but again, easy peasy can do it in a few minutes wherever you are (and not look like a fool if you're caught!).

So do what you can sit-up wise for the rest of the week, anytime you get a free second. Next week we'll target those buns and thighs!

Just call me the Ferrari of Exercise - I made it from 0 -10 in one evening - dare I go for 15 - or even 20 this evening?

That's 10 "wimp sit-ups"  - my Pilates instructor a couple of years ago told me to do them on the bed with my arms out in front of me - so that's what I'm doing and feeling good about it.

Great day to one and all

It meets the criteria of adding something extra so I feel good about that

Is it Thanksgiving yet?   No?  I was afraid you'd say that LOL

I'm afraid I'm going to have to withdraw from the dare for a little while.  Right now I'm still fighting with scieatica nerve pain being triggered by too much exercise (the nerve thinks it's too much - I don't think it's nearly enough)  Until I get that cleared up completely, I'm going to spend my effort on walking -and some stair climbing when the nerve allows it.  I'll be back when I am at a level I can add more exercise to that.

Get yourself healthy and limber again, Happy, before you worry about the sub-challenge. You can still remain a part of the normal challenge without flaw or mishap, I know you can do it. Feel better!

As long as I don't get silly and gradually work back into walking, then stair climbing, then extras I'll be fine - it's just when I don't come back gradually and push myself that I tend to get into problems.  Will I ever learn???  Probably not.  LOL

Thanks for caring - I count on you a lot!!!!
