Thanksgiving Challenge/Pledge sub-challenge Week 1

That's right! A challenge within a challenge. Or, for the more adventurous... a DARE.

Oh yes I did.

I dare you! All of you in this pledge, even you lurkers who may have decided to join in but do so anonymously, or in a personal effort you decided not to share with the board. I DARE YOU!

This week and this week only, I dare you to join me in a sub-challange within our pledge, to add something extra during your "down moments" We all have them, when we have a little extra TV time, or web surfing time, or that downtime right after dishes are done, or right after you walked the dog, or heck, during your breaks at work!....
 
I dare you to do 10 push ups or 20 sit-ups. Anytime, many times if you have the opprotunity!

Keep track and post in your "opprotune moment add-ons" at the end of the day/week/as you see fit.

So far today, I have done (and will update during the day):

UPDATED

4 sets of 20 sit-ups
3 sets of 10 push-ups (I had a hard time with the last 3, I'll tell ya)

Sion...did you just dare me?!   It's on now...jus****ch me!  I'm getting ready to watch "Dance Your Ass Off" which I taped yesterday.  I'm going to see how many situps & pushups I can do during the commercial breaks!

Haha, I like this idea! You can see if you can get one last set in more than last time... pushing yourself just a little harder. Fantastic idea, WAY better than just fast-farwarding through those commercial breaks. DARN THAT DVR WILL NOT BE THE DEATH OF US!

Ok...I can't turn down a dare.  I will do at least one extra set of each -- 20 sit-ups and 10 push-ups today.

I am closing my office door now to do the set!

I am thinking the door was not originally intended for my exercise pleasure, but....whatever works!

I did 20 pushups, 20 situp (those were killer), and 50 jumping jacks. 

Now I am nice and sweaty, or should I say that I am glowing.

oh I can't resist a dare - here I go with my 10 push ups....

there all done.  Thanks, wouldn't have done it without you  

another set done whiel I was waiting for the kettle to boil for my hot tea...
