Hopefully after this it will be time to wind down with some college football, GO GATORS.

L: turkey sandwich w 1oz chips
S: grapes
D: Grilled pork steaks and grilled corn on the cob (cant wait)

Didn't make it to post yesterday.  It was my six month routine check up with my surgeon.  It was great!  He was proud of my for being a tad below my goal weight.  I have officially lost 102 pounds now.  He was also surprised because I have lost/maintained 96% of my projected loss and I guess that is quite unusual.  Didn't do this to do a 1/2 way job - I did it to go all the way.  Not sure what 100% would be but since I love the size I am now, don't think I'll worry about 100% vs 96% - at least not until my next 6-month check up in March.  And that's unusual for me - not to think I have to lose a little more and then a little more  Feel like a real winner today

With the small fill I had yesterday, for the first time in the over 3 1/2 years since my surgery the size of my opening is forcing me to eat slow and if I drank with my meals there would not be room in my tummy for all of my food.  I really like that.  My fill is now 4.4 cm (at leasat I think it's cm LOL)

Today is clear liquids (and protein drinks)  I found a light apple juice at Target that is 60 cal cup and is quite tasty.  This is a comfortable way for me to eat anytime so won't be a struggle.  Tomorrow and Monday with be full liquid days and Tues & Wed will be pureed food days.  Then back to regular food on Thursday.   Don't anticipate any problems.

Will do some walking today - at leat 1 mile

Happy Labor Day - play, play, play  Remember, it is as important to play as it is to work if we want to be mentally, emotionally, and physically health

Oh yes, Wayne - If I went to Cracker Barrel I'd have to PRAY not to eat (lol) Seriously, I know you can do it

Not sure what the holiday weekend is going to bring us.  Right now we're talking about going out and about with our cameras and taking some pictures.  Of course there is a LOT of housework to be done, a week to prep for at the office, and a vacation to start to get ready for.  (Ugh - that's the part that sucks so much, you work twice as hard right before, and three times as hard right after a week out of the office!)

The plan for the day
B - scrambled egg whites with salsa, refried beans and cheese (may skip this one since I slept in)
S - Protein shake (something off of Nik's list of goodness!)
L - 3 TJ's turkey meatballs
S - Cheese Stick
D - Chicken and Beef Kabobs - I'll have one chunk of each and the grilled veggies, may make some mashed cauliflower too.
S - Cottage cheese and salsa or caramel - depends on if I'm in a sweet or savory mood.

Enjoy your day!
  Day by Day.
