Back On Track Together
Monday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio
Hi BOTTers,
I had a very strange dream. It was one of those that was so real I woke up wondering if I did the things or it was a dream.
In my dream, I was at a food mall - no stores just food court type of places. (I didn't even go shopping or to a mall this weekend.) I ate a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, went to Mrs. Fields and had peanut butter cookies dipped in dark chocolate, a pastry that was in the shape of an "8" with sugary krispy things on it that was new and the lady told me it was delicious so I bought it, and other sweet, sugar, carb/fat-laden choices and a half white cheese sandwich. Did you notice the details in my dream? As I type this, I can still see the shape and colors of the treats. There were things that I saw that I wanted multiples of. The clerk told me they had a couple "in the back" and I was so happy.
If anyone knows anything about the interpretation of dreams, what does it mean? I think it probably isn't a positive interpretation unfortunately. Although, at least I ate all this stuff in my dream and not in real life!!! It is one of those dreams that was so visual that I still see the images now. Very strange!!!
I guess I'd better take care of myself today with my check-in after my crazy sugar/fat dream!! LOL!
Here's my check-in:
CARDIO: Walk & Kick dvd
FOOD:
Cottage cheese
Bell pepper strips
Soy Sausage Links (4)
Green beans
Cottage cheese
Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels
Tilapia with green beans
Honey Almond Protein Cereal (I'm out of Cinnamon Toast Pretzels!!! AHH!)
Power Crunch Bar
Have a marvelous Monday as we BOTT. BOTT POWER to us!

Guess you had a virtual pig out - the best kind (Maybe Jimminy Cricket is right - a dream is a wish your heart makes?????)
My pain is less this morning and am using my cane proactively instead of reactively. Not sure how the day will progress without frequent ice pack applications, but will see - so far, so good. So....only enough walking to get from point A to point B - but that's a bit more than yesterday so, hopefully, I'm making progress.
The scales frowned today after smiling yesterday - now I have more than 1 pound instead of less than 1 pound but I WILL make it. I believe the word is P A T I E N C E. I'm thinking it would be wise to go a couple of pounds below goal weight to give me a little normal wiggle room.
FOOD:
B - Health Wise choc drink - 80 cal
Oatmeal breakfast - 260 cal
S - Bariatrix choc soy snacks - 150 cal
L - HW choc drink - 80 cal
Oscar Mayer shaved smoked ham - 90 cal
S - HW choc drink - 80 cal
D - HW Swiss choc pudding - 90 cal
B choc soy snacks - 150 cal
HW choc drink - 80 cal
1060 cal 73g carb 150g protein
Peace and joy to you all (and, Cathy, happy dreams )

Hi Happy, sorry you're not feeling well...it must be a real pain having too use three legs instead of two oops! You know what I mean. You'll be up and around before you know it.
Don't worry about the scale right now, you just concentrate on getting yourself back on the mend, we'll worry about the scale later.
Genie

Genie
You've got that right, Genie - I HATE having to be on a short leash - and I'm getting farther away from my goal weight instead of closer because I can burn any extra calories. At first it was kind of nice (ignoring the pain of course) having a guilt-free REASON (as opposed to excuse) not to exercise - but now the fun's all gone and I'm ready to get on with at least walking - and maybe one flight of stairs. thanks for caring
Today's schedule - (I'm off of work...yay!)
Trip to the surgeon
Stop at Trader Joe's
Grocery Shopping
Laundry and Housework (it's never done, is it?)
Trip to the Gym
Some stamping and scrapbooking
My meal plan
B - Protein Shake
S - Cheese stick
L - Crisp Breads, Roast Beef, Havarti Cheese, and a pickle
S - Yogurt and kay's natural cereal
D - Devilled Parmesan Chicken (I'll share the recipe after we try it tonight!) and a tossed salad
S - SF/FF High Protein Pudding
Have a great day!

Mmmm, Cathy, just you describing your dream makes my mouth water , but makes my pouch want to curl up and hide .
HappyLap, you are so close!!!! You're gonna make it!!!
After my carb-filled not happy weekend as far as food goes, its not suprising my scale stayed the same, which I guess is better than gaining. I'm sooo hoping my dr's scale actually shows me at a decrease when I go Weds. I felt like I've stuck pretty close to the guidelines my PA set...
I've decided to try the 3-day LPT (liquid protein train). I posted on Genie's thread the other day that I would start it, and I did, but dropped off after day one. I think its because I was at home and had nothing to stop me from walking into the kitchen and grabbing a bowl of Rice Krispies. I'm going to do liquids/soups throughout the day and end with a high protein dinner.
Cardio ~ hitting the gym...trying for 10 mins on the elliptical then 10 on the treadmill
Cafe ~
B ~ Optimum Nutrition Mocha Capp
S ~ Chike! chocolate protein (first time to try)
L ~ 1 c egg drop soup
S ~ Optimum Nutrition Mocha Capp
Pre workout ~ Optimum Nutrition Mocha Capp
D ~ 3 ozs chicken w/veggies
