Sunday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

Plans change....I'd planned on doing some family type of things outside today.  My older son Zack was very upset on the first day of school because his schedule is opposite his friends.  Today many of them were able to play outside so I dropped what I wanted to do and let them hang out with their friends today.  Funny thing about being a parent is that even though I was disappointed because I wanted to do the things we've initially planned, I was happier knowing they were happy being with their friends.

Here's my check-in for Sunday:

CARDIO:  Walk outside with the dog (and hopefully the boys and hubby)

FOOD:

Southwestern Egg Beaters
Bell pepper strips
Morningstar Soy Sausages
Cottage cheese
Kay's Naturals Honey Almond Protein Cereal (dry)
String cheese
Tilapia with green beans
Power Crunch bar

Have a super Sunday as we BOTT - BOTT POWER ALL THE WAY!

Hi Folks!

Have been on the road all weekend and out of town, so I didn't have the ability to 'plan' much - I did leave the house prepared, and did fairly well over the weekend (Thank heaven's for mom in laws that live a low carb - high protein lifestyle!)

I did log EVERYTHING (small victory there for me!)

Here was today:

Pre-Breakfast - Protein Shake (Soy Milk and Whey Protein)
Breakfast - 2 High protein low carb cottage cheese pancakes with 1T home made no sugar raspberry sauce
Lunch - 1 low carb tortilla, 3oz turkey breast, 2 slices muenster cheese, a cherry tomato, and some cucumber.
Snacks on the Drive home - Kay's Natural Almond Crisps, Nuts, dried fruit
Dinner - Taco from Taco Bell and a piece of a quesadilla. (Saved the rest for whenever (if) I want it)

And I drank water exclusively this weekend - aside from a soda I had on the drive to help me stay awake.  I think I did pretty well, aside from dinner tonight, but I did the best I could, and logged everything.

Back on track tomorrow - no dining out, and really watching the carbs.  I visit the surgeon in the morning, and am anticipating a 'pity me' afternoon, but I'm going to try to not let it get to me too much!

See ya in the morning with my meal plan!

I enjoy it!! Its a quick easy way for me to get in a workout and not really have to think about it all that much. Its a lot like curves, 30 seconds at each station, 20 stations.

For me its great because I can't spend a lot of time at the gym. I have a little one and work full time, plus go to school. So i really value my weekends. This way I am in and out in about 45 mins. I do 10 mins on the elliptical to warm up and then jump over to that 30 mins circuit. Give it a shot! And if you can't do the steps yet for the cardio, just march in place of jog on the floor in front of it.
