It's time to BOTT. Have to go back to doctor for yearly check up/weigh in and I'd rather walk a mile on cut glass than have to admit I've gained 10 lbs in the last year.

I need help in getting back to the program! As all of you from time to time, I'm dealing with depression (on meds), brother ill and going down hill, aging (73) related health issues, etc.

I'm just sick that I'm doing this to myself. Will appreciate any support and encouragement.

Rudie - Remember, you can't pour out of an empty pitcher.  Taking very good care of yourself is the most beautiful gift you can give your borther.  That way, you will have more energy etc to share with him.

Many of us find it helpful to go back and read (really read - not just skim0 Cathy's guidelines at the beginning of our discussion page.  It helps reprogram our thinking and helps us remember how it felt when we'd been given this marvelous tool.  Then plan   PLAN   P L A N   Take the time you need to plan and prepare your food.

Above all be kind and gentle - firm, but kind and gentle - with yourself.

I know you can do it (after all, this is not the first time you've done it \)  We've all been there - more than once.  If you're comfortable, please post often and share your journey with us

Rudie,

Welcome to BOTT!!! This is a supportive and caring group of people here. Some lurk/some post.  Please join us in the daily Cardio/Cafe that Cathy posts. Its a good way to make yourself accountable for what you're eating and exercising. No one here will beat you up  if you fall off the wagon. Plus, you never know what kind of yummy ideas or breakthroughs may come from posting and reading.

Once again, WELCOME!!
