Thursday, BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

I woke up early this morning and I'm tired!  Yellow caution light for me because when I'm tired, that usually is a switch waiting to be flipped for emotional eating to "feel better" or "have more energy."  I've learned to use my head hunger as a barometer as to what is going on inside of me.  When my head hunger is talking (or screaming) to me, it means that I need to focus inside and deal with something.  Most of the time, my head hunger is a tool to tend to my insides.

Thank you to all of you that responded to my post yesterday about my friend.  We have such a special group here.  You help me every day.  Thanks for your support.  It makes a difference.

Here's my check-in for today:  Tired but may do my treadmill

FOOD:

String cheese
Cottage cheese
Turkey sandwich with pepper jack cheese and 1 slice of bread with mustard
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Tilapia with green beans
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels (I LOVE these things, thanks Kay's Naturals!!)
Power Crunch Bar

Have a terrific Thursday as we BOTT - BOTT POWER!!!!

Good morning, friends

SCALES:  They frowned this morning (not surprising since I've had to cut way back on my exercise due to SI joint, leg and knee warning pain twinges)  The good news is that while the scales went up - they did not reach the "up" of day before yesterday.  SLOW & STEADY WINS THE RACE  (or at least, that's what I want to believe - don't have to like it, just believe it LOL)

FOOD:
B - Health Wise New York Cheesecake shake/pudding - 80 cal
Bariatrix Blueberry Pomegranate Crisp bar - 130 cal
S - HW choc drink - 80 cal

Have a mighty fine BOTT day one and all -

Hey, HappyLap!!

Where do you buy your HW products? They sound yummy, and their website says they only do wholesale.

Keep on moving along with the slow and steady. My mantra right now: some light exercise is better than none.

Michelle - I was able to buy them because I am a psychologist and part of my duties are to work with bariatric patients.  I do sell the products (about 1/2 of the suggested retail) with my price + postage.  If you are interested, contact me at my OH regular site we can talk aout it further.  I don't stock their entire line - just the things I like LOL  I also have some Baritrix (Proti) products as well.

Keep your matra - it is so right.

Hey everyone!!!

I tried the Biggest Loser Cardio Bootcamp CD last night and man, I was worn out!! It has different boot camps to step up your exercise every two weeks. I don't have any idea on how many calories I may be burning, but with the heart racing and the burning in my muscles I'm sure it has to be at least a little bit.  Of course, its probably best I don't know how much it burned. It'll be a pleasant surprise when I notice the difference.

Cardio ~ Stationary bike 10 mins

Hi Everyone...
I canceled my procedure.. the upper and lower GI... the Dr Office forgot to get pre approval from my insurance and I would have been stuck with a huge bill.... not cool!  So here I am BOTTing...
I would rather be here anyway.
I do have to say there is a big advantage to eating a small meal every couple of hours because, in preperation for the procedure I was unable to eat anything all day, and when I decided to cancel the appointment it was 3:00 in the afternoon and when I got home I couldn't get enough into me to feel satisfied... and I didn't care what it was.  so yesterday this is what I ate... Diet Gods please Forgive me!!!

1 slice of toast with a slice of american cheese melted. ( I ate this as soon as I walked in the door about 4:00)

Dinner was done around 5:00
salad
3 oz of beef
1 boiled egg
10 cherries

here's where it gets really bad, we put in a movie ...
1 box (a full box) or raisinettes...ugh!!
1/2 bag of chedder cheese rice cakes
12 oz low cal gatorade

Today I'm BOTT!!!

B- protein drink
S - 10 cherries
L- salad 3 oz beef and a spritz of ranch
D- protein drink

Have a wonderful day!

Stormy - Did they reschedule for your procedures?  Not the most fun events in one's life - but if you need them you need them.  Glad you're back on track today.  I'm sure even the Diet Gods understand yesterday - I know we all do!
